I only put otter box on my phones. This works great as expected I've dropped my phone once already and no damage done. If you want great protection and a great warranty. Get the Otter. Because Otterbox also has a great warranty a lot of people don't know about its easy and it's American made straight out of Colorado. But the warranty is through them on the web site. The case is well made, fits great, and is slim. I only have two issues. First is a recommendation. The belt clip should be be made to rotate. The second is a complaint. There should be a screen protector included or included as an upgraded model. It seems like they want to make you pay a lot more for something that used to be included for the same price.

I have always liked my phones to be well protected in a good case and am usually more of a fan of the slimmer commuter series however the new screenless editions are amazing. They do not have that terrible plastic screen protector anymore which was my major complaint with them. The case is also a good size, not as big as some in the past but you still know your phone is going to survive a drop.

I had an Otter Box Defender on my note 5 and loved it so immediately went to the otter box section after purchasing my note 8.I love the color but the assembly had confused. It's a soft skin on the outside with the hard shell inside like a clamshell. I feel like my phone is more secure but it's a chore to get it in and out of there when need be. Still love it and would still recommend.

I was skeptical of this phone case since they no longer have the built in screen protector. I have the Note 8 and I've had it for less than a month and and although I haven't dropped my phone I do feel it is protected and I love that the cases aren't as bulky anymore. I did purchase a screen protector and it fits perfectly with this case.
