This item has already paid for itself. I was riding my bicycle with the phone securely buttoned in my jacket pocket--or so I thought--when I heard a thud and realized the phone had slipped out of my pocket and fallen in the middle of the street. Fortunately, no cars were following me. I retrieved the phone and found both it to be in perfect condition, in fact, even the case showed no indication it has hit the pavement! I'd estimate the distance of the fall to be 36 in. The case is bulky and adds to the size and weight of an already large phone--more like a mini-tablet. The case has two separate parts: The phone fits tightly into the base which has a cut-out for the camera lenses. The cover has a clip which can be attached to your belt. The phone in its base nests inside the cover and can be clipped to your belt open. However, to operate the camera, you must remove the phone from the top case to uncover the camera lenses.

The defender by Otter Box is a great asset to my Note 10+. With past experience with this product I did not hesitate to purchase one for my new phone. The belt clip gives another option to carry with ease. I would highly recommend it to protect your investment.

Been a user of the OtterBox Defender for years and have never had a problem. One of the best cases on the market to protect phones from accidental falls and drops. The OtterBox Defender for the Note 10+, so far, is no different. The only difference for me is that previous OBD cases had a more rubbery feel, which I liked, while this is more of a hard plastic. OBD cases are pricey and not flashy, but they deliver the protection that is expected.

I learned the hard way that not having good protection for my phone is costly. The Defender is great for my Note 10+ with its raised ends to protect the curved screen. Can't use wireless charging due to two layers of protection but well worth it. Case was $10 less than direct from Otterbox and arrived in a day. Very satisfied with service and product. Have used this case for several phones in the past and will buy for future phone upgrades.

The otterbox defender case does a good job of protecting my phone. The case is bulky, which given the protection level is understood. The belt clip has become very useful for work as it limits what I carry in my pockets.

Used the defender cases for the last 6 years without any problems! My wife and I have dropped our phones on many occasions without breaking any screens or causing any damage to the phone itself. Only negative is for the phones we have(Samsung Galaxy Note 10+) with curved screens, theres no screen protection provided with this case. Also a bit pricey but would recommend it for the overall protection it provides!

Great case for your phone, provide grips. The only downfall is, due to the new phone size and the added bulk by this case, it may not fit in most phone cases well. Suggestion: Buy the iOtties Touch 4 if you're planning to use this case in your car.

If you work for a living this is the case for your phone. It will take the drops and the bangs. It's easy to hold with or with out gloves. you can turn the phone screen side into the case for added protection when you need it. all around great case.

Otterbox is the best case available if you want to protect your note 10 plus. This case can withstand a fall of your phone from a decent height. The case is bulky but it's worth the bulk to protect your prized phone. It's definitely worth the price.

The case is easier to hold onto because it's not slippery, my fingers seem to have a good grip as opposed to my previous case. It comes with a belt clip attachment that I can use as I want to or remove easily when I prefer not to use it.

I have dropped my phone multiple times and it protects my phone. I even got a good screen protector since it doesn't protect the screen and I've had to replace that but my phone is still in great condition

I've used these cases for years. They protect phones well. This one does not come with built in screen protector like my S7 edge otterbox case? Note 10+ 5g came with a laminate style screen protector out of the box. Works great!

Probably the best case on the market. It's a shame it costs so much more than anything else out there. It is only plastic like all the rest. But you have to cover your smartphone with something, going naked is just not a good idea.

The OtterBox Defender case is perfect for me! I am a remodeler and always have my phone on the job site. Dropping it is almost inevitable, but this case it tough, it protects my phone completely, and it's not bulky! Worth every dime!

Noting like an Otterbox to protect your phone. It's something that I recommend to all users of expensive cellular devices these days. I love the belt clip, makes it easy to access my phone when I need it.

Otter Box Defender Series Pro Cases are the best protection that you can purchase for any phone. They may be more expensive upfront; but I have never lost a phone while using them.

I always use otterbox defender which protects my phone very well. I used the previous phone over three years thanks to the defender case. This thing also fits perfectly to the phone and should protect the phone just as well.

This case is perfect for the phone. It offers awesome protection. After this case, you would not want any other case. The phone fits nicely and feels great in the hand. I always buy Otter for all my phone cases.

I can't speak for the other Otter Box phone cases, but this one is fantastic. It has different layers of protection and is shock absorbent. I'm not sure how many times I dropped my Galaxy Note 10+, but it always comes up without a scratch. It surrounds the phone with a very thin layer of protection that's quite comfortable. It also comes with a removable belt clip, which I don't use. However, that same belt clip can be used as a stand for the phone, which I do use. I highly recommend this!
