Posted .Our apologies for the confusion, but it is correct that the Defender Series Pro case does not include a screen protector. The online images are actually depicting the device display rather than a screen protector, but since a screen protector is clear, we can certainly appreciate how you'd have been thrown off a bit.

I like the fact the case no longer comes with a pre-installed screen protector because it doesn’t get grimy or cloudy like the previous generation model. It’s protective and sleek. The clip comes in handy when I’m watching tv on my phone or to use it as a stand for the Standoff feature. I also got it on sale for $25. Can’t beat the price and protection. Great value.

I’ve had it for the iPhone 13 Pro, the 13 Pro Max, and now the iPhone 17 Pro Max — and it’s super sturdy. I work in construction, so my phone takes a beating, but this case holds up great. Back in the day, I used a different model, but it wasn’t as tight, and over time the movement caused tiny scratches or a sort of “polishing” effect on the phone itself. That doesn’t happen with this one, which I really appreciate. The 17 Pro Max version is another story, though — I just wish it protected the entire back of the phone. Still, it’s a solid case overall

Defender , I got it for my iPhone 14 Pro Max . Since I’m out on the field doing construction I drop and bang my phone daily . With this case it stays safe and protected. Don't be fooled by the "Hard Shell" descriptor. It actually feels more like an auto tire rather than hard like metal. It feels very comfortable, and the protective case still makes the controls easy to use. I had a Best Buy tech install the case, and I'm glad I did because the tech was so much more careful than I'd have been, but installing the case isn't rocket science.
