I like the Otterbox brand. Kept all of my phones safe from most damage for several years until the purchase of new devices. A little worried about the open part for the camera button. But still a good case overall.

Had the phone for 2 weeks already cracked screen protector twice we all know you cannot leave any screen or parts of the phone unprotected not a great design at all why leave the camera button exposed ?

I got a new iPhone 16 two days ago, and went to Best Buy to buy an Otterbox for it. I typically carry my phone clipped to my belt in an Otterbox. Both the salesperson and the instructions said that it didn’t come with a belt clip, but I could easily get a free belt clip sent to me by Otterbox if I would simply scan a QR code, put in a numerical Promo Code that was included in the package, and request the free belt clip. When I got home, I scanned the QR code, and it took me to an Otterbox website that said the belt clip is “out of stock”. Instead of allowing me to place an order for when it would be “in stock”, it said to return to the site in the future to check to see if is available. I’m expected to waste my time and effort returning to the site to see if and when the clip becomes “in stock”, and if and when THAT day comes, they will give me the privilege of placing my order THEN. Since the belt clip should be far easier to manufacture than the Otterbox itself, I would think that keeping the belt clips in stock wouldn’t be much of a problem, but I suppose they don’t make any money sending out “free” belt clips, so they really could care less about their customers.

I purchased this otterbox case because I wanted to protect the new phone we purchased for our son for Christmas. We knew that he would drop it so wanted to protect it the best we could. There is no protection in the indention where the camera button is - no thin piece of plastic or anything. Our son dropped the phone and that is exactly where the imps t was. Luckily we also had a screen protector which absorbed the impact and we only had to replace the screen protector and not the phone. Have since purchased a spec case because it does have some coverage over the camera button. Was really disappointed because I always felt otterbox provided total protection.
