The case is super sturdy. I wish it showed the apple on the back and wasn’t so heavy but it definitely feels protected. The piece that snaps on the back to turn it into a stand is a little confusing.

Really? Bought on 10/4 and broke by 2/1/25. Indestructible, I think not. Expensive, yes. This Otterbox Pro Defender cover broke as it plummeted nearly 2 feet from my chair to our carpeted floor. The plastic stand broke and now flaps open and close like the mouth of a product pitchman.

This is perfect for the iPad 10th Generation with no built in screen protector because I’ve installed the tempered glass screen protector.

The stand is difficult to use. It is effective once you get it open, but it is hard to open and close. The entire case is very bulky and I am not sure how much protection it would provide on a hard surface. I have had thinner cases, but I wanted to try this for my new ipad. Probably more than needed, although the case feels like it is mainly plastic.

Loyal Otterbox customer so had to have this for our new iPad. Easy to install and great protection for the iPad. Some information indicates there is a screen protector included. The only screen protector is the one thay snaps on and off. A film protector would also be nice. Best Buy matched a sale price elsewhere so couldn't pass up this purchase.

They completely redesigned this case. It’s much better than the old design. I’m glad it doesn’t have that flimsy side panel that would always come off on the cases for the Air, Pro, mini 6, etc. it’s simple and it works. Love the new stand design…also love the built in slot for the pencil.

I ordered this case to protect my new iPad. I have used OtterBox Defender Series cases on my smartphone for years so I knew this would be perfect for protection, and it is! I am very happy with the protection this case provides and it's surface makes the iPad easy to hold. I highly recommend!

Rock solid case, guaranteed to protect the iPad, but it’s a little heavy.

The Otterbox brand in general just doesn’t seem to be as heavy duty as they once were. The case is good but not as sturdy as I would have liked. The edges around the screen are very thin and flex easily. If the clam shell cover wrapped around the edge of the device (instead of just the corners) it would offer much better protection. The kickstand is also rather clunky and requires a bit of finesse to get it closed without breaking it. It’s still a good case but when a product is priced at the upper end of the market I expect a little better. This is used on a 10th gen iPad.

It's a great cover that provides excellent protection. Only complaint would be that it's 2 detached pieces so you have the back cover connected to the iPad while the front cover needs to be removed for use and subsequently placed back on to protect the screen when not on use. It can be attached to the back and has a kick stand, but while attached to the back it covers the camera. But the purpose of the cover is to provide the best protection possible and it leaves no doubt that it will do just that (as long as you have the front cover on).

The OtterBox is a life saver. I have replaced my ipad's screen 3 times this year. I had dropped it and the screen was smashed and it was costing me $120 each time. I had tried other cases but nothing compared. I purchased the OtterBox and I have dropped my ipad but now there was zero damage. The OtterBox is a little costly but it is the best case out there.

Really solid case - good protection. The cutouts are all in the right places, and the double layer feels like it will be safe if accidentally dropped.

Solid protection, but the stand needs work , The case is very sturdy and definitely keeps the ipad safe. However, the cover/stand has room for improvement; the part that supports the base gets stuck and is so rigid that it’s almost impossible to move.

This is a good iPad protector that has a small indiscreet stand that folds open to hold your iPad in a standing position. However, I inadvertently purchased the wrong size which was a tiny bit different in sizing and needed to return it. I had to repurchase an otter box for an 8th generation iPad and not 10th generation which is slightly smaller. I repurchased a correct size; however noticed although the otterbox works great in protecting the device; it’s slightly difficult to remove the frame. You need a flathead screwdriver to pop open the frame. I needed to watch a utube video to see how it was done. However, once it’s installed; it fits perfectly and works great for my needs.
