It protects the camera lens. It was recommended to me.

I am a 10+ year user of Otterbox Defender series cases, spanning many iPhone models. The defender for my 16 pro let mer down in 2 ways. 1... The exposed part of the right edge left the screen protector vunerable and I had to have 2 of them replaced because of that reason inside of 2 months. Geek squad folks tell me there is a lot of problems with that exposed edge and screen protectors. 2... MagSafe charging quit working through the case within 3 weeks. Took me a while t figure out what was going on, but it worked fine when the case was off. Perhaps the construction material is either 2 thick, or made of some material that is not compatible with MagSafe. Best Buy made things right with me, and after a lot of looking around on the shelves I settled on a Casetify case. A little more money, but it protects the screen edge all the way around. I feel that is important.

Very solid product. The only thing that seems off is the side area where the button for the camera is.

OtterBox is by far the best case. I’ve dropped the phone several times and I always pick it up with confidence that it’s not broken.

This is a great product. I would use it again when I upgrade my iPhone.

Very easy to install and my kid loves it. He is very tought with his phone and this case is working well for him

Return product. It is missing a cover for the camera button on the right hand side. The button is exposed and so is the side of the phone.

If I could give zero stars I would. Didn’t think about the section on this case that is cut out for the camera button. It exposes the edge of the screen and have already cracked three screen prootectors right where the edge is exposed. Terrible design!

Too expensive given the level of support around your hand. I would not bet this case.

Usually I have nothing but great things to say about otter box, hands down most durable cases I’ve used. However, the cutaway for the camera button is the Achilles heel of this case. I’ve broken two screen protectors in two weeks in the same exact spot because of it. All because the phone gently bumped my kitchen table.

Horrible, I would not recommend this to anyone. It has a big gap where you use for the camera on the right side, which I do not like. they need to do a much better job to create better where you will feel your phone is being protected by this outbox case

When I upgraded to the iPhone 16 I purchased two of these from Best Buy. They didn't include a holster. When I get home the details for the free holster listed on the back of the box were not included in package. Otterbox site wants to charge me. Deceptive

This case does not match the description. It’s supposed to be grippy. It’s slick, like all other hard mag safe cases. Useless

No explanation given for not installing a screen protector I ordered when I purchased a phone case protector. It was agreed that I could return to the store when the order arrived and it could be installed there. I arrived and the department manager requested $8. The ordeal left me frustrated and I returned the screen protector. It’s your loss after the shipping cost and loss of customer loyalty.
