The worst otterbox case I've ever bought.

I got six people I get these cases for. This year otterbox case is the worst. I understand theres a new Control button on iPhone 16 pro max. But the cut out for Control button leaves the phone exposed for damage. And the purpose of buying a protection case is to help protect the phone from damage. This otterbox case does not do that. Luckily I have a screen protector on my phone. if I didn't, this case would really serve no purpose. even though I have a protection screen on my phone. The protection screen constantly gets damaged because of the cut out on this case. the protection screen gets instantly damage from a drop. which normally doesn't happen. the only difference between the screen protector I always buy with the otter box case is the cutout. Horrible idea. I never thought about buying a case different from otterbox. but for the first time ever. I'm looking at other cases. SMH. Otterbox really left me disappointed with this case. I don't understand way they haven't offered other options. Might be the last otterbox I buy.

Poor product now. Used to warranty the phone too

Thought I would give them a try again with my new iPhone. Haven’t dropped it to see if it’s protected yet but the free belt clip has a piece that sticks out, that goes against the screen. Needless to say that will crack your screen. Was on the riding mower and the bumps in the yard must have been enough for that to bounce off the screen. Found out when the last phone broke, otter box doesn’t warranty the phone anymore just sends you a new case for your broken phone.

Flawed Design

The OtterBox Defender Pro XT case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, is a decent and sturdy option, but it has a flawed design. The notch in the case for the new camera button leaves a vulnerable 1-inch area where the screen lacks protection. Due to this, I’ve already cracked the tempered glass screen protector on my phone. As a result, I’ll be returning this case.

The mag safe batteries literally peeled off and cause an ugly glue outline which one dirty looked horendous. Cannot use wireless charging now that the case is defective and un usable. Due to best buys return and exchange policy i was left with an 80 dollar paper weight

I was expecting to receive the order by Tuesday next week. It finally arrived on Thursday (2 days after). The reason? Apparently FedEx. Im sure Amazon would’ve been able to deliver the product within the same day the order was placed. If you want the product.. make yourself a favor and go ahead and pick it up at the store yourself.

Pass- gap in coverage and protection on edge

The gap in coverage on the edge is a flaw in the manufacturer’s design. Exposes your screen edge and frame to damage. I know with my luck, it wouldn’t survive.

Those complaining about the camera control cut out on the side just exactly what with you expect them to do? Yiu can only provide so much protection, that's what the AppleCare is for.
