It has nice screen and lens recess which is hard to find. I dont like the charger protective cover because only some chargers will fit. Reinstalling the case is a pain but all otterbox cases are.

This case is very well made and does a great job protecting the new iPhone 14 Pro Max. Have dropped it several times with no issues!

Love this case, it provides full coverage on sides and back. I haven’t had issues with hands free charging. I paired this with a glass screen cover and feel like my new phone is drop proof!

I’ve had other OtterBox cases that are still usable. This one is really bad. After 3 months it’s falling apart.

The case looks and feels great. My only gripes with the case have nothing to do with the quality of the case itself. Pros: perfect fit, no wiggle room for dust or feeling it will get loose after a while. MagSafe is strong, camera is more than well-protected, and it is very case friendly (I’m using an edge to edge ZAGG glass screen protector). The sides feel quite grippy too, which is great because the back does not. Cons: installation isn’t fun, I’ve put on maybe ten of these since this model was first introduced, and it’s never easy. I wouldn’t say it’s difficult, I don’t feel like I will damage the phone or anything, however, spending 5 minutes installing a case and digging your nails into it is not a good time. You slowly become better at it if you are removing the case often, but Otterbox could’ve done a better job in this regard. Lifeproof (which Otterbox now owns) had a very similar case called “lifeproof next” which had a better thought out installation process and still felt 95% as good as this one with very similar protection. Lastly, Otterbox covers are exposed inside of their boxes, so when you’re shopping at Best Buy for example, there’s a greater likelihood you’ll find scratches on them. I know because when I got home, mine had one. I bought another, and it had one too. The third one was fine, but just a small nitpick I have with the way the covers are exposed sitting on the shelf of retail stores.

Good case overall. Very protective good grip and not bulky at all for the amount of protection that it gives. The only major con with this case as others mention is the installation process. This case literally took me about 20 minutes to put on and is very tedious. One thing that I would highly suggest when putting on this case is use a Metal credit card to help pull the rubber piece back then start sliding under the plastic piece first then use the credit card to go around the case to align the rubber and plastic piece starting from one corner around the case. Plastic credit cards will probably not work as that may snap the card. I had the Apple Credit Card which is Titanium and works great. 5 Star case, which they can figure out an easier method for installation for the next iPhone generations case in the future. Would recommend!

I used this case for a solid 2 years and it did a great job of protecting my phone through dozens of drops. I only just replaced it with another identical one because it is on sale and I felt like a refresh. The back does get scratched up over time and the part that covers the edge of the phone and snaps under the lip of the case is flimsy and will break over time. I cleaned my phone and the inside of the case probably every 4-5 months. The rubber grip holds up well and the buttons are easy to press. Definitely recommend this case to anyone who wants great protection, drops their phone a lot and isn’t concerned with a little extra bulk.

This case not only looks good, but it is also really protective, and stays relatively slim. It also has a life time warrenty (which they say is 7 years from the date of purchase because thats what they deem as the life time of your phone), but this is still the best case to just buy once and not have to wory about getting a new one. My only complant is that because this case is a defender case, it is a little challenging to get your phone in and out of, and the clear back of the case is a little slippery, but all clear cases are slippery, the rubber on the side of the case makes so much better. But still an amazing that I would easly recommend.
