It's an Otter Box. I've had several through the years. They are all a little bulky, though I must say this one doesn't seem to be as bad as the others. The bottom line is if you want to protect your device from broken screens then this is the best hands down. They have saved me lots of times.

Just like the summary, It's very hard and heavy-duty! I now feel comfortable walking around with my $800 Tablet knowing that if it falls, it will be protected with this strong of a case! Very satisfied! Also includes a cover/stand to position it multiple ways

How can you invest in new IPad and not get one of these, they are the bomb!

Great protective case. I read a Lot of reviews on different sites about this case before I purchased it. I wish the color choices were better and it is a little heavy but those are the only cons I can find. Overall this is a Great case and worth the money.

This is a great case as you should expect from otter box. My only complaint is that it can’t be used in conjunction with the Smart Keyboard that Apple sells.

I have used these cases in the construction field for years and have dropped them, got them wet, and baked in the sun with no damage to the iPad. If your student doesn't need a key board this is the way to go!!!! They would really have to try to break it!!!

I’ve been using this case for almost a year and it has been a life saver. My kids have dropped it and spilled on it more times than I can count. My iPad is still working, and looks like new when I dare to take it out of the case

We use our iPad on Construction Sites and it seems to be the best case for that function. It's a little bulky and doesn't allow for a keyboard but we don't use one anyway. We have had one dropped already and the iPad is still working great.
