It comes with the screen protector already attached. The third install step is to remove the back film of the protector. But if you aren’t careful the protector comes detached from the install kit 3 steps too soon. In my case this means the sticky side of the protector touched the box the whole thing is attached to, so now my protector has fuzz and junk on it. At least my screen will be protected until zagg arrives
