This case is well made, and has protected my i Phone every time I dropped it.

It is a night low profile case, for an otterbox. My phone definitely feels protected but the case is a little slippery and bulky but I knew that being an otterbox it would feel that way.

The case is very good at protecting against cracks to screen as well as scuffs to the phone. The case is simple yet effective and it is not bulky. I gave it 4 stars because 1) the price is very high, 2) No screen protector is included and 3) the case is not easy to remove once you have put on.

If you are looking for a protective but lightweight case, this might be the one for you. I do suggest you buy a protective glass screen shield as this cover does not protect the screen from cracking, but it will stand up to some minor drops. It is not bulky or weighed down, and it still looks fashionable as my color of choice was red. Hope this helps.

Personally I like cases that are clear and can show off the back of my iphone, so when I saw otterbox had a case like this, I figured I would give it a shot. Turns out I really liked the case for the following reasons Pros: Brand: Otterbox is a great brand for a case, it has protected my phone in the past from a few falls, so they are well known and trusted. Sturdy: Its very hard plastic, and I have yet to scratch the back of the case even while having keys with it. So far happy with it! Design: Its clear, plain and simple. The black bumper for me is a plus since I prefer it since clear bumpers show any trapped dirt inside. Also does not add significant bulk to your phone. Con: Buttons: My one and only Con about this case and why its not a 5 star review. Buttons are very hard. Took me a while to break these bad boys in since I like an easy button press for power. Not recommended for those that have carpal tunnel and the ladies who just got their nails done at the salon, the buttons will make you cry at first. Think I got used to it. Otherwise, excellent case and product! Thank you Otterbox, keep up the good quality.

I've purchased Otterbox cases in the past for others, like my elderly aunt who's prone to drop her phone, or my dad who's always doing some sort of crazy home/car improvement project - and yes, I've seen them accidentally drop their iPhones down stairs or on concrete; and the phones always survives. ...so I figured why not get an Otterbox case for myself. The Symmetry series is different from what I've seen - it's a one piece case, so it's not hard at all to get the phone in/out of the case quickly; yet, it seems much more sturdy than any other clear case I've ever tried. Since it is more sturdy, the case does make it harder to press the power and volume buttons on the phone - it requires a bit more strength. I'm pretty confident that if I drop my phone, it will likely be fine. The packaging also states the case will not yellow since it's UV resistant - a major issue with most clear cases, so we'll see how it really ages. The reason for taking a star off is that the case is not really clear. The exterior is smooth, like most other clear cases; but, the back interior is a bit rough, which is why the case isn't truly clear. I ordered a custom skin for my phone and was hoping for a clear case to show it off. The blue comes through; but, not the carbon fiber-like finish. I'm including images to show what the skin looks like stand alone vs being in the case. Personally, I don't mind that it doesn't come through as much because I'm not liking the color choice now that it's on the phone. ...but those of you hoping to show of a decal/skin on your phone might want to keep in mind that this case is not truly clear. If you want a semi-clear case that will protect your phone and doesn't yellow (per the packaging), than maybe this is a right choice.

Otterbox does it again. Providing great protection for your iPhone in a clean and compact design. I like that this case is slim and adds very bulk to the phone, but is sturdy and strong enough to keep it safe and sound. The only drawback is it does not come with a screen protector.

The Otterbox is stylish and protects my IPhone. It is bulky.

Purchased this case for my new iPhone 7 plus. Love the color and its very supportive & durable. Not as bulky as the otter box defender. Only negative was the price.

It's really hard to beat an Otterbox iphone case when you're looking for great protection and functionality. The Symmetry case is no exception. It's lightweight, but, its hard/soft plastic construction gives good protection for the phone; however, it doesn't give screen protection, though. With it's slim design it will slip very easily into a simple hip holster. The reason I only give it 4 stars is that it is too thick to use an Apple charging dock, which I like using. I got this Symmetry case for my iPhone 7 plus after using a Defender for a few days. With the size of the 7 plus, the Defender was just too bulky, and heavy. Don't get me wrong here; the Defender is a great case.

Love this case! The colors and design are just my style, and the polka dots accent the rose gold of the phone that peeks through where the camera is just perfectly. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it’s a bit difficult to get in and off. Overall I love it though!

This is a well made and great fitting case. It offers solid protection in a sleek design without adding too much bulk to the iPhone.

I have an iPhone 8plus. I went to two different stores for this particular case. The first store had the Otterbox Symmetry for 7plus/8plus on the shelf priced at 24.99. Perfect, I want it. I get to the counter and it’s rang up as 54.99. I show the associate where I got the case, and it’s explained that there is a 7plus only(which was suppose to be there), and the 7plus/8plus I had grabbed. I left the store and went to another the next day. This new store had both 7plus only and 7plus/8plus versions of this case. I examined both and tried them on my 8plus. Both cases fit exactly the same, and there is virtually no difference at all. Why is there a $30 difference for the same f$#%ing case. This isn’t Best Buy’s fault, as otterbox had this priced the same on their website. If you want this case, the cheaper one will fit the 8plus perfectly. I have no regrets.

This case is solid as you would expect from Otterbox. I have the 7 Plus and this was an upgrade from a 6 so I'm already dealing with a much larger phone, unfortunately this added a little too much bulk to the already large phone. If you are already used to a plus and a large case, this would be a great pic for you. If you also upgraded but want some solid protection and don't mind adding a bit more bulk, this case would also be for you. No matter what, you will have a great case you just have to be prepared for making an already bulky phone, even more so.

The case is a great Otterbox product as always, but the transparency leaves more to be desired. Sure, you can see the color of your phone through the back, but finer details (like the serial number) are a little obscured due to the hint of cloudiness of the material, which borders in translucent rather than completely transparent. If you're looking for a good protective case that covers the back, sides, edges, and corners of your case, this is great. If you're looking for absolutely crystal clear transparency, this is not 100% transparent.

This is a nice, lightweight case. Good protection for such a lightweight case. A bit overpriced. This should be no more than $20.

Very good case, thin enough to be durable and protective without being too bulky for my wife's purse and hand, she says. I bought for her for Xmas to go with her new phone. I don't think it provides the protection of the Commuter case that I have and I would not want to get one for myself since I'm harder on a phone than she is. I gave it 4 of 5 stars simply for that difference in degree of protection from shock compared with the Commuter or the Defender.

Have dropped my phone in this case many times. My phone hasnt even gotten a scratch. One issue I have with this is the lock button is very hard to press, but easy to get accustomed to.

I purchased this item over six months ago and has never been disappointed with its quality and ability to protect my overpriced iPhone 7 plus from weak and slippery fingers. It is solidly made and isn't overly bulky but slim (yet sturdy) enough to protect my phone from accidents on: concrete streets, bumps down stairs, and drops from nearly every angle and height. It's well worth the money for protection from my clumsy fingers.
