Only case I know of that lets you use the docking station with it on. Having said that, it is tedious too lift back the part to install into the dock. But overall, a good product!

Great cover it is a little hard to get the kick stand off but understand why great protection for my Surface, protects it really well

The case is snug which makes it a little tricky to put on. This would not be a problem normally with an Otterbox case, but in order to use the kickstand, you have to detach the bottom section of the case. It takes quite a bit of effort and you have to put pressure on the screen of the Surface. When the kickstand (and case) is closed the charger does not always fully connect, but this has only been a recent problem and I have had the case for 7 months. It at least seems to protect my Surface from impact which is what I got it for.

This case protects the exterior of the Surface Pro 3. You can access the memory card and use the docking station without having to remove it from the case.

I am a Project Manager for a construction company. This case makes it great to be able to walk around the site reviewing plans with our foreman without the worry of something happening to my Surface.

I purchased this earlier this year. When It was selected I put Surface pro 4 in all the selections and this came up. I purchased it, received it and found that it was for a pro 3 and does not fit the Pro 4. In the midst of all this, I went through a move and it was packed away instead of being returned. I tried returning this week and was informed that it could not be. This is the last time I will order on line and will also be mindful to return things right away. I made a $120 + mistake.
