I like the clear version because my phone is the deep purple and I like that I can see it through this case. I have almost always used OtterBox brand as my "go-to" for my personal phone and my son's pone and never had any issues with the strength and quality. They have some thicker cases too, fo r break resistant

It is a hard case but has soft rubber sides that match the color of the overall case. These rubber sides do show dirt over time, especially in the lighter colors. I’ve had this case for about 1 month now and it’s already starting to show some slight discoloration.

This case did not disappoint. My phone has remained intact through multiple drops. I like that OtterBox has refined their design over the years - no more bulky cases with rubber that doesn't slide in and out of your pocket easily. This case is nice and sleek, but still very effective. Until someone convinces me otherwise, I am loyal to OtterBox.
