The controller/buttons on mine looked like it was peeling and the backlight only illuminated opposite halves of two buttons on the controller, and was excessively bright. Last light setting is not saved if you cycle power.

Great light, big clip!

If you clip it to the back of a desk (logical place) your desk has to be a good 6 inches from the wall. I ended up clipping mine to my monitor stand.
