This lamp is absolutely perfect. Easy to assemble. Heavyweight bottom and awesome choices of lighting colors and intensity. And if that wasn't enough the USB port and tablet holder put everything you need exactly where ever you want it. Totally sturdy and well-made. Wish I had bought more of them when they were on sale! I bought it without hesitation when it was a deal of the day but can't imagine I would have compared to others if it was at full price. But the bottom line is if money is not an issue buy this one without hesitation!

I've been trying to find a lamp for reading and this one is great. 4 settings of brightness and 4 light modes. The tray for a tablet is optional and bit tilted but we use it to charge iPhones in the USB port. Construction is a mixture of plastic and metal and instructions are missing a step about removing an orange ring that seems to be for packing on the posts. Ordered a second lamp on the BB Daily Deal to replace another lamp that is a bit dim for reading.

Perfect for what it was intended. light is great; dock for power is great. Placing the base is integral for the lamp not falling over. I had to fabricate/enlarge the side to side holes so that the Ipad would sit horizontal. Otherwise it tilted. (No adjustment-welded)

This is by far one of my best and favorite purchased from Best Buy. I actually purchased it online because I don’t think I have seen it in stores. It useful, practical, and best of all critical to all of the work I do. I have been staying up late nights to either study or read and the lamp has been amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This was interesting concept to add the tablet holder and charger to lamp. Have bought OttLites before and good product to show more natural light, especially for artists. Good product.

Love this lamp. It can be easily adjusted for reading. We've used it for reading, working jigsaw puzzles and all kinds of things. It is so very easy to adjust the brightness. We aren't using the tablet holder. We are using it as a floor lamp in our living room. Bought it at half price so it was a super buy. I highly recommend it!

The idea of this floor lamp is great, but it’s a little top heavy and will tip over if the tablet holder and lamp aren’t adjusted just right. I kept it, but unable to use it where I intended to. I’m using It for my sewing table where it can lean between the table and wall, plus I put a brick on the base, so it would be more stable.

Needed a desk/floor lamp for reading. This one is a nice product, especially with the built in shelf for holding an Ipad. The three light levels and different color spectrums are very useful.

The reviews I read were certainly true. A great light with one big issue - tipover. Weight seems to be oddly distributed because of the tablet holding mount. I solved this problem easily by placing a 25lb. weight plate stop the base. You probably don't need that much weight, but I never have to worry about my iPad hitting the floor. Light options are numerous and very good.

I am very happy with the lamp I purchased. Not only do I like the mood settings and the variety of brightness, but also the USB port and tablet stand are a bonus.

So many light options to choose from. I love the stand for my tablet-and it can charge while on the stand. Brilliant.

I did not hook up the tablet stand yet. The light itself is awesome!! I did not have enough light by me when on the computer. It did not dawn on me until I got this light. I like the fact that is a LED light. Also you can change the color of the light. The next time it is on sale I will buy another.

I bought the Ott Light for a friend, who does quilting. She absolutely loves it, & her son uses it, when tying flies fir fishing.

This seemed a little pricey even as a Deal Of The Day, but it is high quality and worth the money. My son can charge his tablet while watching it on the stand. The light above the stand also comes in very handy at times. I may buy a second one in the future.

I needed a good floor lamp that would not cast shadows or be to bright when I'm writing on paper or stationary. This is the perfect lamp to write by because I can adjust the light head or move it to a position out of my way. Plus, it is a great lamp for hobbies. I like building with Lego's and this lamp is great. No bright spots on the shiny bricks. I haven't tried the Tablet Stand yet so that is why I gave it 4 stars. I will update later when I try out the stand and USB charging port.

Best lamp to use while sitting in a recliner watch Netflix. Broke my IPad screen before I had the lamp when if fell off the arm of the recliner.

Love this lamp it is the second one I have purchased. The light is very natural and the stand to put a book or tablet on is very convenient.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this stand. I had to take it back once. The next one I got did the same thing as the first. If you barely tighten down the base to hard the bolt snaps and leaves it of even.

Convenient and easy to assemble with a bracket to hold your iPad or other tablet. USB not 'fast charge' compatible but works okay.
