    Kind of a splurge purchase for me. Do you really "need" a light like this....but its really nice to have one. Primary use is to light up my laptop keyboard at night while I sit in any easy chair and this has plenty of illumination even at its lowest setting. Seems to last a long time on a charge. I also look forward to any situation where I need light and I can plop this thing down. Would make a great gift for just about anyone.

    It’s a nice looking little light. I wish the actual lighting was more spread out than spotlighty but that’s hard to find with small lights like that. It’s not super “spotlighty”.. just not as spread out as I hoped for. Still a good light and glad I got it on sale for $20.

    Overall good purchase. It takes long to charge fully it seems, the red light it on for a long time when charging , even after using it for little while. the longest I've used is for 45 min and it worked well.

    I would have given this lamp five starts except that the directions to fix the year are not included. I had to call their customer service line (very helpful agent!) and have her walk me through to bring the program up to date. The light is strong and it's very compact. I love that it is rechargeable so I can travel with it.
