Wife loves her Oura. It is a good hassle free sleep tracker - although we think it indicates more "awake" time than actually occurs during sleep. Make sure you send a lot of time with ring sizing kit before you decide on a size.

Ive has this ring for 3 month and still loving it. It detects when I’m fighting something or when my temp is elevated. I mostly use the activity tracker, sleep tracker, and menstrual tracker. It’s comfortable to wear all the time and sleep with. Great investment. Happy I was able to get one!

We use Oura Ring to help track sleep. It is very helpful in determining what is affecting our routines, and what could be altered to increase our rest and energy levels.

The Oura ring has been an excellent addition to my wearable tech line up. I wear my applae watch during the day and take it off at night and the Oura ring 24/7 except to charge and actives that might damage it. It’s very comfortable to wear and the battery life is excellent.

This is an absolute must buy for those interested in learning more about your daily living. It fits great, no annoyance noticed and looks great. It seemlessly tracks everything. I definitely recommend this version of the ring.

This is an amazing piece of smart health tech. I thought it was going to duplicate everything my smart watch does but it’s much more accurate and provides sleek data. Even though the price is a little steep I’d highly suggest the investment. It is very comfortable compared to previous generations since there are no bumps on the inside.

Love this ring! I have sleep apnea and wanted to track my sleep. I have apple and garmin watches but don't want to wear to bed. This ring and app tracks a lots of biometrics. It gives me ratings on stress and my bodies recovery. My activity levels and detailed sleep pattern to the minute. The stealth ring for men is durable, however, does have propensity to scratch. Recommend the latex protection covers on Amazon for wearing for golf, yard work, etc to protect ring.

Like - fit, comfort, look, capabilities, charging and days of battery operation. I wear it 24x7 I especially like step counts, heart rate and sleep monitoring.

Works great and the fit is good. I was getting data showing that my sleep was not optimal and I was able to confirm and correct the issue with my doctor. I feel great now. Does not scratch.

I’ve been wearing the ring (on my index finger) for about 7 days. I like the way it looks and it’s comfortable. I was a little concerned about the bulk of the ring but it’s not a problem at all. It doesn’t interfere with holding a golf club. And barely notice I have it one. I’m still learning how to interpret the data and the capabilities of the ring but so far, it’s great.

Luxury Pricing, Questionable Value: The base price is steep, and the gold version costs even more (and yes, the gold can tarnish—search the reviews!). You’re paying for a brand and a shiny finish, not extra function. Opaque Data: Oura only shows your lowest HRV average at night, not your highest, nor your real-time ups and downs. If your number seems low (mine is often ~19 ms), that’s by design—it’s showing your most “strained” period, not your day’s average. This can be confusing and discouraging. Step Count Drift: After recent updates, Oura’s step count dropped (sometimes undercounted), while RingConn overcounts. Neither is perfect. RingConn: A Cheaper, Broader Lens All-Day HRV: RingConn measures HRV continuously, so you can see how stress, calm, and even emotions affect you throughout the day. No subscription required. Half the Price: $200, with core metrics, including HRV, and no recurring fees. App Needs Work: No way to see weekly/monthly HRV trends (at least as of this writing), which makes long-term improvement hard to track. What Companies Should Learn Stop Gating Health Data: HRV isn’t new; HeartMath has offered this tech for decades, focused on healing, not profits. Wellness shouldn’t be locked behind a luxury paywall. Transparency and Choice: Let users see all their HRV data—lowest, highest, averages, and real-time—and empower them to interpret it meaningfully. Price for Access, Not Exclusion: These rings could transform public health if made more affordable. Apple and Oura, why not partner with mission-driven orgs and make HRV tracking a right, not a privilege? Bottom Line If you want the most validated HRV data for overnight recovery, Oura is still the gold standard—but it comes with a monthly toll, luxury pricing, and data “curation” that hides more than it reveals. If you want more raw, day-long HRV (with some trade-offs in accuracy), RingConn is a worthy challenger at half the price. If I could, I’d blend Oura’s science with RingConn’s access and HeartMath’s spirit. Until then, Oura gets 2–3 stars from me—not for lack of innovation, but for putting wellness behind a velvet rope.
