After seeing what it took to install this microwave, glad I purchased the Best Buy installation package.

The installers were quick and friendly. They had my over the range microwave installed in 20 minutes!

(I had filled out a survey previously) The Geek Squad guys were amazing and professional and within the window I was given. Careful with removal and installation and cleaned up afterwards. There should be more guys like them (It’s been awhile now so I don’t remember their names) definitely 5-stars

The installers arrived on time and were very professional. They took care not to damage anything around the area of the installation and made sure everything was clean afterwards.

Microwave was installed yesterday and the door for the microwave is uneven and also It looks like they did not use the toggle bolt on the walls for the mounting plate they only direct screw it with Wood screws (1/4” x 2”) I think It was about 5 screws. On the instructions for installation it says Drill holes at points A and B. Drill at least one additional hole in area C that lines up with the location of a stud. Where there is a stud, drill a 3/16” hole for wood screws. For holes that do not line up with a stud, drill 5/8” holes for toggle bolts. They are professional on what they do but I hope in long term it won’t fall on the wall.

The installer did an awesome job! I thought it would take two people to do it as he was all by himself. However, he really surprised me and did an excellent job! I'm just sorry that I didn't get his name. But please tell him that I am very happy with his work!!! Yay Best Buy!!!!

Love my microwave and guys did excellent job installing

I love my new Whirlpool OTR microwave. At first I was thinking it would not fit well over my range, but the installer helped me to see that it would fit nicely before he installed. I'm very happy with the purchase and installation.

Best Buy suggested to send someone to my house to measure the space for the new microwave. It was a great idea to help us to chose the perfect one for our kitchen. Fast delivery and wonder service.

Bought all my appliances and tvs from best buy for me new house. This microwave being the latest. Guys came over as with my other appliances. And gave the same impression to basically get it done and go. When starting the install they first put the microwave bracket far too low leaving 3 holes through my new backsplash. Then while in the process of removing it he realized i have a junction box in the cabinet with the wire coming out of the box that was hard wired to the previous oven vent that was there. The microwave has to plug into a wall outlet. He than said i didnt know i needed an outlet for this install. I then asked him that he surely must keep a stock of them in his truck seeing the they are supposed to be proffesional installers and figured they were prepared with everything they needed on hand to do any type of install, and also since they subcontract for best buy i figured that best buy name alone would ensure quality installers. His answer was "no i dont have one" "i used the only one i had on an install 2 days ago" i couldnt believe what i was hearing. And to top it all off he said, "yea, we dont usually have outlets anyway, we are plumbers but best buy gives us the appliance installs to. My mind was blown. While his helper went and doubl checked the truck, he remounted the back plate to the wall with some more holes. I went to tend to my dog while he continued. When i came back the microwave was up but i noticed it was tilting forward. His explanation was, " i already raised the mount once if you dont think its level you can just adjust the bracket some more when u have time. Then proceeded to tell me to go pick up an outlet and connect it to the hardwire. At the time i thought. I just want these guys out before something else gets screwed up. So they hooked up an extension cord i had in the kitchen from the floor, over my counter, and infront of my cabinets up to the microwave plug. I know, crazy right! But it gets worse. They leave, and i go see what i need to do to fix this right. Once im in the kitchen i noticed that to run my mic power cord to near my hardwire from junction box in cabinet, (which is still live, with bare wire exposed and hooked up to nothing, bent upwards into the back corner of the cabinet. Then i see he used a hole saw about the same size or a bit bigger than a hockey puck! So as if enough hadnt been botched already. I then look up in my cabinet where the mic sits below and he drilled the holes for the bolts that come frome above and thread into the top of the mic to secure it were off about 2 inches from where they should be. So to cover up his mess he put big washers over the drilled hole and forced the bolts down into the top of the mic at an angle because the hole was so far off. Then i remember hearing an impact drill sounding like he was taking lug nuts off a mack truck. Well it explain why now. He could get them to thread because the holes were not aligned with mic bolt holes. And he proceded to basiccally hammer dril the bolts stripping the original threads any making his own cross threaded mess that i am unable to remove now. Then i put a bowl of soup in the mic and it tilts downward enough that the soup spills out the front of the full bowl. As far as this outlet that i was told to get myself and hookup. Well that outlet cost about 50-60$. And know way am i coming out of pocket when i pay yearly for a membership to make sure all these things are included for free. So thats my great expierience. And thats just one appliance i had 4 others in stalled on different days and more of the same. If i told you all the other stories ide be here all day. I could right a book. On the other hand the geeksquad guys that do tv installs, etc.... are great

Mike and his team were excellent! They set up so there was no mess left behind. They were personable, efficient and overall it was a great experience. I would HIGHLY recommend them for all future work!

Looks great above my stove top. The microwave works very well. Installation was quick and smooth.

Geek Squad removed old/ installed new microwave oven with air fryer. Added device to SmartThings via Wi-Fi and demonstrated features. Excellent install, attention to detail.
