Overboard was a timeless classic. This remake was okay but watching it more than once or twice is enough. I preferred the original which was much better, that I could watch many times over. This movie would have been better with the original cast creating a part 2 showing how there lives turned out.

If you remember the 1st movie, then this movie is going to probably feel cheesy to you, as it did for us... if it's new to you, then you probably will find it to be a decent movie. For us, the role reversal just felt wrong & everything was way too predictable as they followed almost exactly how the 1st movie played out.

Like the 1987's edition of Overboard. This edition is filled with laughter. The difference between the two editions are the roles. The first edition saw the rich lady going overboard. This edition had the rich male going overboard.

I ended up enjoying this flick because of the added latin flavor and Anna Faris. In the end it has that feel-good ending I most enjoy especially from my rom-coms. As for the blu-ray picture quality, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I’m always weary when it comes to remakes but this one wasn’t bad at all. It had funny parts and alothiugh it wasn’t exactly the same the concept and even the classic line were there. I would watch it over again.

I enjoyed the movie but I still love the original storyline the original story I think it is still better and this one it's nice to see a reboot but I stick it original the regional was a classic

I went in buying this movie thinking it wasn’t gonna be good and to my surprise I enjoyed the movie a lot . It was hilarious ., want to laugh and cry ,,, then this is a must for anyone ,,,

This move is not as good as the original with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. However, it was worth the Black Friday price I paid to see it. This is a $3-7 movie max.

This is a great story . Loved the story , hated having to read it . I don’t speak Spanish. Even when you play on English you have to read .

Another remake that does not live up to the original. If you liked the original you will be disappointed by this modern flipped version.

I wasn’t a big fan of the original but decided to give it a shot. Acting wasn’t great but it was a decent movie with many funny moments.

Not as good as original. Also, if you don't like reading subtitles ... then don't get this movie. Half of the movie is subtitled.

in my opinion, its not as good as the original, since you sort of know how it will end, but a fun spin on it and fun to watch

I grew up with the original Overboard movie. This movie is good, but does not compare with the original. It is still good.

I love the original film and it has aged well. No need to film a remake but it was a fun film with great re-watchability.

It wasn't awesome, but it wasn't bad either. Similar to the Kurt Russell - Goldie Hawn 1987 movie, in some regards.
