We have tried nearly every type and brand that is available to try to increase water consumption, and the "simple" comfort details make this one shine. Those mechanisms? The carry handle is contoured for a hooked finger or two. That same handle folds over the lock button to prevent accidental unlocking. The spout too is curved to better fit your mouth, or pour out. If I had any complaints it would have to do with maybe not being as insulated as a couple other brands we've tested, but it does hold ice very well.
