Great product, easy to set up and use. Connects through wifi, sometimes has issues loading feed

I recommend the OWL cam because the instructions were easy to understand, super easy to install, simple setup, and user interface on the app is intuitive. The app also notifies for movement and sound, which comes in handy a lot for a fussy baby. The cord protectors are included and help with safety. I wishnthere were video playback or clips to review within the app. Definitely a great purchase.

Look at the Owlet cam 2 it is an easy yet intuitive camera that gives you clarity and bold visual look of your pride and joy. Upon opening the box you are greeted with Owlets superb and high quality materials in a finely crafted packaging. Every item is well protected and was very easy to understand. The instructions for setup and placement took a little time to get just right above the crib. Once it was were I wanted and was able to see my little one it was time to get everything else setup. The app was very simple and easy to navigate to the point my wife was able to get it going and get us set up in no time. I will say the clarity of this camera blew me away and seeing my little one laying down for nap time and watch how the moved and slept was so amazing. It even has 4x Zoom at 1080p. Now what makes this camera so special? This is where it really shines! The adaptive learning in the app and camera predicts when our little one will be in nap window! It also can give us insight into the temperature and humidity in the room. I loved how it was able to predict on what caused our baby to wake up and even gives the few seconds before into its learning. This is a must for any parent of a newborn.

My can works great and customer service it’is amazing

A few highlights: it was a little difficult to setup. Slight delay in the video feed to the live display on my mobile device. Like ability to turn off the indictor light because there are no distracting lights at night. Adjustable base to point camera. Customizable push notifications to your smart phone, tablet. I read a lot of other reviews referencing issues with crashes, camera disconnects, and latency, and assumed others were just having wifi issues, but after giving this camera a try I ran into all of the same issues, even in a room with excellent wifi coverage. 80% of the time, the camera works as expected (albeit with about 5 seconds of lag), but the other 20% of the time the app is unable to connect to the camera, the feed freezes and won't play back video, or the alerts are super unreliable and/or just don't work. I really wanted to like this camera, but there's just no way I can trust the safety of an infant to this device.

I have 3 (2 originals, 1 Owlet 2) cameras throughtout my house. I love being able to view the cameras on my phone and the microphone option. Sometimes the app glitches but when that happens, I just reset the app. I wish there could be an "error" report to pinpoint what goes wrong in those instances. All-in-all, I will continue to use and purchase Owlet cameras and products!

We’ve had ours for a bit and its a nice piece of mind. However we find it not connecting on a daily basis. We exceed all the requirements. We went out and had a babysitter one night. It had worked all day just fine. We checked the app before we left, all good. 10 minutes down the road it disconnects. I’m unsatisfied with this cam and causes more stress than piece of mind.

Cant pair to 5GHz homw networks. And for those of us with newer equipment, we cant just turn off 5GHz. You have to leave your house to pair it. Issue is, yiu cant leave the hiuse to pair it, because the device is powered by a cable. So youre just screwed. Dont waste the money on this.

The owlet sock works great. The camera does not. When you load the app it sits there and thinks and thinks and maybe a hour later when the baby is already asleep the camera will decide to come on. We have talked to tech support and they keep blaming it on the server. Owlet needs to do better or more bad reviews from people will be coming their way….:
