Not sure if it’s a problem with our modem or if the camera just has trouble receiving the signal. It frequently looses the connection and takes a minute to get it back. Overall it works, I like the design and the magnetic feature.

I purchase this monitor to keep an eye on my elderly mother at night. It is great! It has a clear picture at all times no matter where I am viewing her in the train, in the car and at home. I can hear everything going on in her apartment as well very clearly. The only downside is the mic is okay. She cannot here me clearly.

I’ve gotta say I was skeptical buying.. but now I say wow this is a nice camera I take care of my sister she’s gotten out of bed in the past, she can’t walk but forgets from dementia. Also can monitor temperature in room.

I bought this Cam for my daughter who just had a baby. She loves it! Very easy to use. Love that family especially grandparents not able to come visit because of covid 19 pandemic are still able to see baby when ever they want at a click of an app. So thank you, very satisfied.

Great camera so far. My little one won’t be here for another month but we have been testing this camera in the nursery. There are definitely a few kinks where the app force closes but being so new to the market i can’t really complain.

Initially, it was hard for me to get the camera online. After a bunch of reboots and a phone call it worked ok. Even though it viewed my feed with some good video quality, it sure did take a while for it to register movement and the video quality due to the long delay. My son was about to fall out of his bassinet just before I walked into the room. As I’m walking in, the live feed kicked in.

The video quality is not as good as I thought it would be. It lags a lot and the app sometimes fails. I never used the sock. I wouldn’t buy this again.

There are quiet a few issues with this camera. The first being it has no notifications. Zero! So movement and sound will not alert you. Second is it freezes and glitches a lot. This is not good if your baby is in another room because if you have the audio on in the background and it freezes while you’re asleep you have no idea. Brings me back to notifications would be nice. It “has” the ability to tell you the temperature in the room it’s in. This is a joke. It is about 5 degrees off at all times. I tested this with a real Thermometer. So all in all I will be returning this for one that works better. Now if you would like a camera you can check remotely and talk through then I guess it’s fine for that. Just not as a crib monitor.

After doing extensive research I decided to purchase this and then after doing more research I decided to return this as it appeared to be more of a hassle

The best product we have bought for our kids. Very easy to setup no complications whatsoever. If you are hesitant look no further this is the camera for you ... you are able to download the app and look at the feed from anywhere in the world

We've used this camera for a few months and are frustrated we waited too long to be able to return it. For the most part it would stream the video and audio correctly but we started noticing one or both either stuttering or cutting out completely. Video frozen, audio cutting out at random times, it's enough to make you more than mildly annoyed. Right now it's been more than an hour and no stream whatsoever. I've restarted the router, my phone, and even snuck in to unplug and plug back in the camera to no avail. Their customer service is a joke and even the online help articles have typos in the titles, which just goes to show their commitment to quality. This thing was made to do one thing and can't even do it correctly. It's a camera connected to your wifi...this isn't exactly cutting edge technology but it appears that owlet has spent vastly more on design and marketing than it did functionality. Truly a subpar product and a waste of money.
