Never hurts to find better ways to sleep. Whether it be from apps or medication, getting that restful night of sleep is always a great thing. Having sleep issues myself, I often am looking for more effective ways of sleeping which led me to these earbuds. At first glance, yes, they're earbuds. Nothing really fancy about them however they do come in a pretty cool sliding earbud case which I thought was cool. In addition to the earbuds/case, you get a charging cable and 3 different sized tips for better fit/comfort. Initial setup is the same as any other Bluetooth earbud. Once you download the smart app, you'll be able to select which sound you want to use with these. there are about a dozen or so but only some of them can be loaded onto the earbuds. In addition, you can also set alarms through the app as well and get battery readouts on the earbuds/case. These are basically a white noise machine. You can get the those sound makers that play ocean surf or bird chirping or whatever peaceful noise you want to play while sleeping. Only this time, the sound is completely isolated so no outside noises to interfere with your sleep. All you hear is whatever "music" you play and nothing else. Helpful for sleep but also very effective if you want wind down or take a minute for yourself during the day. Helps me kind of zone out but without taking a full blown nap. This was helpful in getting me to sleep a bit better but I find that using these to "zone out" during the day a lot more helpful. Whether you're sitting at your desk or going for a walk, playing these with whatever Zen sound you want, helps decrease tension a bit and just makes things a little more "chill". 2 biggest issues I had with these is 1) updating or replacing the sounds on the earbuds. You can only update one sound at a time and, on average, it took me 10-12 minutes to update the sound. At initial setup, it took over an hour just to update the sounds and there is no "Update All" button available. I had to click Update on one sound, wait 12 minutes and do that again for all the other sounds. I think the sound updating/adding process should be A LOT more streamlined and allow users to perform these tasks all at once insteafd of one by one. 2) the price. This is a white noise machine so you can get something like this anywhere basically. If not the machine itself, then there are smart apps that do the exact same thing for way less. I'm assuming everyone already has some headphones/earbuds already so all you'd really need is an app for the noises. Having a stand-alone earbuds for this is pretty cool but, considering the price, it may not be for everyone.

A useful device for better sleep!

One of the most important things for maintaining good health is sleep, although sometimes it is not always possible to fall asleep and sleep for long periods of time without interruption. Outside noise or even noise generated at home can be an impediment to a good night's sleep. The Ozlo SleepBuds device is a tool that helps prevent this from being an impediment to peaceful sleep, isolating sound and providing comfort while sleeping. The box contains the Ozlo Sleepbuds, 4 pairs of ear tips, a charging station, a charging cable, and a user manual. To connect them, you must charge the case with the earbuds inside, download the app, and follow the instructions. After that, you must update the device's firmware, and they will be ready to use. In terms of design, the case is practical and easy to use, the sleepbuds fit perfectly, and it has magnets that prevent them from moving out of place and allow them to charge without any problems. The sleepbuds are lightweight, compact, and very comfortable. When inserting them into your ear, you have to twist them a little so that they fit completely. It feels like you're not wearing anything, and when you lie on either side, it doesn't cause any discomfort. In fact, you can fall asleep without feeling like something is bothering you. In terms of performance, they have a battery that lasts long enough for a whole night's sleep, and with different sizes of eartips, they can be adjusted to fit different types of ears. The Ozlo app is also very helpful for choosing your preferred ambient sounds, setting alarms, setting a sleep timer, and using the autoplay function so that the device detects when you are starting to fall asleep and begins to play the previously selected ambient sound. Sleepbuds can be used to listen to music from your phone, but they do not have any buttons to control the volume or music playback. The isolation from outside noise works well; it is almost imperceptible what is happening around you, which is a great help if you live in places where this is a problem. In summary, I consider this to be a very useful product that is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, with enough battery life to last all night, and an app that has everything you need to use it. The Sleepbuds are comfortable and come with different eartips for each type of ear. Some aspects could be improved, such as adding some kind of volume or playback control on the device itself, although one of the most important areas for improvement would be the price, since for what they offer, due to the nature of the product, the cost seems a little high. A discount would not be a bad idea. This product is for those who place a high value on resting and recovery after long or hard days, and who want to invest in sleep, which is so important for health. If you want to improve your sleep quality and don't mind the price, this product is for you. I can recommend it.

They fit perfectly when sleeping, nestled gently in the outer ear but snug enough to stay put while remaining comfortable. They aren't built for sound quality but that's not what they're for, they block noise very well and the sound is perfectly adequate for white noise and even music/TV if that's what you prefer to fall asleep to. The sound won't blow you away, but you're supposed to be sleeping, it's not supposed to. The app/sleep tracking are still in beta but I can see them improving steadily and they're helping me understand my sleep patterns and needs better already. You also do have to get used to how they connect between the case and your devices, but once you do it's pretty easy.

I’m always looking for the next great sleep aid, from masks to ear plugs to sleep pads for sleep tracking…LOVE IT ALL. So I was excited to get my hands on the Ozlo Sleepbuds. I love headphones and earbuds and have “them all” according to my spouse and thought the OZLO Sleepbuds would be a great addition with Their specific use case…. But….they just miss the mark sadly. I got them out of the box and had to spend way too much time “updating” the software. The app walked me through this and tried to run some interference by reminding the user that these were a new product and had to update the software to fix bugs. After the long update and going through the set up it became very evident just how reliant the earbuds are on the case. The case has to be so close to the phone and earphones ect. Not sure that’s a big deal…but it for sure doesn’t simplify my life or my bedstand with yet another item needing to be on or in it. I placed the earbuds in my ear and they are for sure very low profile. I mean I was able to easily lay on my stomach and the earbuds were securely in my ear and did not feel any pressure from the side of my head on the pillow…Yet they still were not what I would call comfortable. I could not make a whole night with them in my ears…just not comfortable. I used the smallest tips they provided. I hate to even say this but I would want to know…they were not easy to remove from my ears in the middle of the night when they became too uncomfortable to sleep in anymore. I know..I know… They have to be snug and low profile to not rub up against the pillow but regardless….still not easy to remove and was frustrating. Then there is the battery life…not good… It will get you through a night but you are going to have to have this plugged in all the time. I also did not love the app….So you can go through the noise masking earbuds in and when you pick one… you have to take the earbuds out and place them back into the base then wait …again….for it to down load then you can listen to it. I liked the one that sounded like the cabin of a 737… that hypnotic rush of air when flying was nice….The other ones like the ocean sound and rain sound…just didn’t sound quite right and very tin can soudning… I also hated that to pair with your phone, the earbuds have to be in the base… of course I would always forget that and have to wrestle the little buggers out of my ear and place them in the base…wait then sync my phone and then replace them….just not effortless…which is what I have come to expect with really great tech… this is not that. The last thing that really sealed the mediocrity deal…the sound…It is just not great… and I am sure it’s due to the limitation of the drivers due to the low profile size… the trade off is just not worth it. There were some other features I wished I could have tried…like the one where I could listen to a podcast and when I fell asleep it would switch over to the jet sound I like….Problem was the sound was so bad and the comfortability of the buds never let me actually fall asleep with them in my ear to find out if it worked… It’s a great idea…but for me, it’s a pass. I will just go back to listening to world class sound with other earbuds and then put in my foam noise blockers to go to sleep.

I've been using these sleepbuds for about 5 months, after my previous other well known brand finally died. It took a while to find a sleep sound that masks my partner's snoring, but after trying several, the Jade sound works well for that purpose. However, the sound profiles are not as rich as the ones on my previous buds. Initially, the buds would disconnect and not reconnect when I went to the bathroom during the night, but after a few days this problem corrected itself. The big negative I have found is that the app does nit automatically adjust for standard/daylight saving time. So when I had my alarm set for 7am the night that standard time resumed, the alarm actually went off at 6am standard time.

These are great! Small and confortable for side sleepers but still fit snug and securely all night. They work with streaming audio, and can transition to a preferred sleep sound after a set time or automatically when you fall asleep. Future updates are supposed to include a sleep analysis as well.

I was nervous about pulling the trigger after limping along with my Bose for 6 months with a dying battery. After a few months now, I have ZERO regrets. These have worked perfectly for me so far. I haven't experienced any of the issues others have reported - connection issues or problems having them properly sit in the case to charge. On top of it all, they just released the latest update that introduced their sleep tracking features! I had no idea the case has sensors to track temperature, light, sound, etc. Mind blown. I'm not one to rely on this stuff, but it made the price a tad easier to swallow and the execution in the app is pretty good! Made the price a little easier to swallow...

Purchased these on September 26, 2025. It is now January 7, 2026 and they no longer will connect or charge. I have been trying to get support to resolve the issue but am not having any success in getting that resolved. I have been trying email for support for now going on 2-weeks and the seem to be ignoring me. I am 100% dissatisfied with this product especially for the amount of money I spent on these they should have lasted longer than 3-months. I had the Bose prior to purchasing these and they lasted for years before I wore them out. At this time I would definitely NOT recommend spending the money on these if they are not worth it for the short amount of time they last. In my opinion do not buy these.

Having spent several weeks with the Ozlo Sleepbuds, I can confidently say they are a mixed bag of brilliance and frustration. These earbuds excel where it matters most for sleep: comfort and noise masking. The soft silicone tips and low-profile design make them nearly unnoticeable, even for side sleepers like myself, and they stayed securely in place all night. The passive noise isolation, combined with well-engineered sleep sounds like "Crimson Cloak" or ocean waves, effectively muffles common disruptions like snoring or traffic. I appreciated the flexibility to stream podcasts or music via Bluetooth, and the auto-switch feature which transitions from streaming to sleep sounds once it detects you’re asleep worked reliably in my testing,. Battery life is solid, consistently lasting 10 hours, which is enough for a full night’s rest However, the connectivity experience is where the Ozlo Sleepbuds falter. Unlike standard Bluetooth earbuds, these require the charging case to be within 10 feet of both your audio source and the earbuds themselves. Pairing was often finicky; I had to factory reset them twice initially, and even after setup, reconnecting involved opening the app, waiting for the case to establish a link, and then placing the buds in my ears. This process feels unnecessarily cumbersome compared to the seamless pairing of mainstream earbuds. The app dependency is another drawback. Basic functions like volume control or selecting sleep sounds are only accessible through the app, which disrupts the simplicity you’d want when half-awake at night. On the positive side, the sound quality for sleep-focused audio is excellent. The built-in noises are crisp and immersive, and streaming audio from apps like Spotify or YouTube works without issues once connected. In conclusion, the Ozlo Sleepbuds are ideal for sleepers who prioritize comfort and noise masking above all else. They deliver on their core promise of blocking disruptions and providing a comfortable, all-night fit. However, the frustrating connectivity and app reliance make them difficult to recommend unconditionally. If you’re willing to tolerate these quirks for best-in-class comfort, they might be worth the investment.

These are a terrible product. The packaging and product looks good, but you have to constantly interact with the app and put the headphones back in and out of the charger. It is not conducive to a peaceful rest routine. The app also seems to need constant updating. The ear buds may be comfortable but getting them to work and actually be viable for sleep isn't worth the trouble.

I was given a set of these sleep buds from Best Buy to test and after spending some time with them I find they are perfect for sleep support, especially when traveling and have become an extra set of earbuds in my assortment but a must have in my travel bag. Their biggest strength is comfort. They’re very lightweight and low profile, which makes them easy to wear even while lying on my side. Unlike most earbuds that feel bulky or fall out, these stayed put all night without me needing to adjust them or feel ear pressure from them which is a standout reason alone to use them. Where they really proved their value was on a recent work trip. On my flight, they helped soften the background noise so I could relax more easily, and once I was in the hotel, they made a huge difference in blocking out hallway sounds and helping me fall asleep in a new space. That combination of comfort and reliability really made them shine for travel. The sound library in the app adds to the experience, but outside of sleep and relaxation they are more limited. The audio quality is fine but not above other earbuds I have like the airpods pro. For me, they work extremely well for flights and and sleep where comfort beats audio quality. Pros • Extremely comfortable and lightweight for sleeping • Stay in place overnight • Quick pairing and easy-to-use app • Great for flights and hotel stays Cons • Limited app functionality beyond sound library • Average sound quality • Not versatile for everyday use

    Good Sleepbuds Minus Sleep Tracking

The Ozlo Sleepbuds Bluetooth Earbuds in white have turned out to be a fantastic addition to my nightly routine. While the initial setup was a little more difficult than it should have been—it took me a few extra tries to get everything paired correctly—once they were up and running, the experience has been excellent. The standout feature for me is the ability to seamlessly switch from my favorite streaming services to built-in white noise. I’ll listen to a podcast or music as I unwind, and then with a simple tap, I can transition to calming background sounds that help me drift off to sleep. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in usability and comfort. Battery life is also very solid, lasting easily through the night and then some. I never have to worry about them dying in the middle of sleep, which was one of my initial concerns with wireless earbuds. The design is lightweight and comfortable, staying in place without creating pressure, which is especially important for side sleepers like me. One disappointment for me was the lack of sleep tracking features. I was really hoping to compare the earbuds’ data with my fitness tracker to get a fuller picture of my sleep habits, but unfortunately, that option just isn’t available. It feels like a missed opportunity on an otherwise very well-rounded product. Overall, despite a slightly clunky setup process and my frustration with the missing sleep tracking, the Ozlo Sleepbuds still deliver on comfort, strong battery life, and excellent sound options that truly improve rest. Highly recommended for anyone who values relaxation and sleep quality.

I suppose my title could be vague, but to briefly summarize, I think this is a very good product that does quite a bit very well for me but does have a few things (ok really only one) that I wish were better. To start, as far as I am concerned, this type of product is dead on arrival if it is not comfortable. If it hinders one aspect of what it is trying to fix in the process of doing so, what is the point? I understand that this really is going to be a personal thing, but I found these very comfortable. I am a slide sleeper, so I am probably on the more difficult end of these working out, but I have no complaints. I easily make it through an entire night without issue, either with comfort or staying in my ears. There was a bit of trial and error, and I realize everyone may not be covered here, but I think they did a good job with materials and tip options. Definitely take the time to see which fit is best for you, it is worth the effort. Beyond that though, they just work. Despite her denials, my girlfriend does occasionally snore, and these completely mask that, as well as just about anything else that has come up. I also find them useful to use when I need to get to sleep but the TV is on. We have other solutions there, but this is easy and simple. I think the provided sleep sound options are good and varies, and I really appreciate the flexibility I have to use my own options or media choices. Really, the only real dig or issue I have had with these is that connectivity is just not quite as good as the rest of the product. While they do consistently connect for me, it just seems to take a bit longer than I would like. I don’t think it is a deal breaker by any means, as they fit and work so well for me, but just something to note and be aware of. That aside, in the end I really like these buds. The tech is solid, the fit is great, and they solve a problem for me. As someone who was a user of the Bose version of this concept before it was discontinued, I think these fill that space very well. They do come at somewhat of a premium price, but they do deliver on what they promise, and I do think the value is there, especially for those looking for their own solution to better sleep.

So these Ozlo buds are a frustrating product. The need for something like this is evident but the execution is lacking. As a light sleeper, I've always been on the lookout for something like the Ozlos. Thunder, lightning, our security system chime - all those things wake me up in the middle of the night too easily. At the same time, it's been extremely difficult to find earbuds that fit in my ear, don't fall out and don't immediately cause soreness within several hours. The Ozlos work well in some respects regarding the things I mentioned but no so well in others. The eartips are super soft and fit well in my ears, create an excellent seal, don't fall out and allow me to continue to sleep on my side without being bothered by their presence. However, while they started out as comfortable, within a matter of a few hours I started feeling external ear pain and so could only really wear them through the entire night a couple of times before finally giving up. Regarding my mention of the crowdfunding nature of the origin of the Ozlos, what I'm referring to is the extremely frustrating bluetooth connection. It's pretty buggy both in terms of it's connection back to the case and / or phone but also in terms of software / firmware updates. They take a very long time and remind me of the amount of time it takes to update certain smart watches. All in all I don't think I will continue to use these unfortunately.
