    I have a 2011 Chevy Traverse and this harness is needed to retain turn blinker and door ajar noises. Can also adjust the time louder or softer. This is also needed to retain OnStar if u subscribe or to make the red light green again on the OnStar rearview mirror. If you just want the blinker and door ajar noises and don't care about the OnStar red light, then crutchfield has a much cheaper harness that Best buy don't offer.

    The purchase was actually due to the lifetime guarantee Best Buy offers when they do the installation of sound system in your vehicle. It was five years after the install, I had an issue, took it up to the BB that installed the system and all I had to do was show a receipt or they can look it up on by your rewards number. I had to pay for the radio interface (parts) but that was all. Brandon in the installation department was awesome and he knows his stuff!! I will continue to use BB because of this.
