I wanted this unit to deal with brown outs and maintain a supply of clean power to protect expensive electronics. I have multiple units in various rooms protecting home theatre equipment. The selling feature for me was that it could output more power than coming from the wall in a brown out situation. As this particular unit aged it started producing an over voltage situation pumping over 150 volts directly into my 65 inch TV. So it actually created the exact situation it was designed to protect against. It ended up frying my television. I am in contact with Panamax now to determine what happened so that I can prevent a similar occurrence in the future with my other 5400 units.

I'm very happy with this Power Conditioner purchase, it does the job. I wish that it did have a remote and would allow for me to turn it on/off.

Recently purchased as a security against surges for all our theater equipment. This gives you peace of mind so won't have replace something due to a change in frequencies. The price is a little higher than low end protector. but worth it, Want to purchase this item for other places in our home, .

Needed something to protect my growing and increasingly more expensive home theater equipment. There are adequate outlets for all of my components and some to spare. The volt and amps displays are a nice feature. Shortly after buying I replaced the TV and noticed that the amps drawn decreased somewhat indicating the efficiency improvement over the older equipment. It was expensive but has given me confidence that my equipment is well protected.

I was looking for a high quality surge protector strip for my new home theater system. The Magnolia consultant discussed my situation and referred me to the Panamax power conditioner. In the past, I thought they were a ripoff. My thinking has certainly changed! This unit just quietly goes about the business of protecting my system. We have had several major storms already this season, and the power readouts to my equipment have remained safe and steady. I feel confident with this product. Got it on sale at a great price. Time will tell...

Checked several sites regarding a new surge/conditioner. After being pushed into replacing my monster, I decided to bite the bullet and get this one. First and foremost the build quality is awesome. I especially like the ability to dim the gauges up front since they can be bright. If you have spent a good amount of money on your audio, video, or gaming equipment, protecting it is a no brainer.

I have my entire home theater plugged into this thing, all 11 Outlets are taken, I feel protected with it

I have ZERO complaints with this unit. I have all my components plugged into this unit including sub and it works flawlessly. I have read other reviews saying you need to plug your sub and other amps directly into the wall because this regulates the power and doesn't work. Well, that's BS. If you're plugged into the right plug it's un-regulated straight clean power that doesn't interfere nor does it cause issues with the subwoofer. My Amp meter doesn't lie.

This is the smartest purchase I have ever made. It protects my TV and other electronics. It looks cool too with the blue lights.

Panamax makes premium products and performace and quality, pricey but well worth it to protect your av components

Bought this unit to protect the electronic equipment in my home theater setup. It has dedicated outlets for high current equipment such as A/V receivers and includes outlets for equipment that must always be on such as DVRs. It also has inputs/outputs for your cable /satellite and LAN cables. So far, so good. It seems to be working well in terms of regulating voltage but the true test will be when a power spike occurs.

This was exactly what i needed to compliment my home theater system. I had issue with my receiver cutting out when i played my ps4. Problem solved.

I am very pleased with this purchase. 2 dedicated high power banks for my Pioneer Elite receiver and my B&W sub. Unswitched banks for my 4k TV and other equipment. Sound and video are flawless with undetectable distortion. If you have high end equipment, this line conditioner is a purchase you can't go wrong with.

Perfect item to complete our Gaming Pc setups, as most that are worried about there electronics being randomly fried I always had a quality surge protector but when you have so many things running it makes absolute sense to have control over the correct power being routed to these items. I love how it regulates power during spikes, surges and such, I do not live in a area with "dirty" power however it's electricity and it's sometimes way beyond our control this Panamax Power Conditioner really gives you a strong piece of mind and when you have so much to rely on it just makes sense! Side note, its pretty cool object to have with your build displays Amps & Volts current, has USB & AC outlet in the front for extra items on the fly. Really enjoying a proper setup now, you should too, ignore articles against power conditioners and listen to those who use them, everyone will justify why they do not need to purchase something they do not want, few will actually get to experience an item like this.

I did not know the importance of this product until speaking with a Best Buy Representative who really knew what he was talking about. I researched and went back to Best Buy to purchase it. I could not believe the difference in performance and piece of mind that came along with the purchase. This is a great product and I highly recommend it to go along with your home entertainment center.

Panamax- 11-Outlet power Conditioner/ surge protector was very easy to install. It has been working perfectly since installation. We are relieved that our high end home surround sound theater with B&W speakers, Rotel amplifier and McIntosh receiver are protected.
