I am VERY, VERY picky about my audio video equipment! I have the Sony xbr75x940c 4K tv (Sony's Flagship) and this Panamax M5400-PM replaced the Monster HDP-1800 in my audio video set up, and without a doubt!! I have a cleaner picture!! As well as cleaner audio!!

I have two M5400-PM’s, one I bought 10 years ago that is still going strong in my loving room home theater system and just purchased another for my office/gaming setup. The power conditioning and voltage regulation is top notch. Not only will it improve your audio and video quality but it will also extend the life of you electronic equipment while protecting it from power surges. How much money do you have plugged into a crappy surge protector? You were willing to spend thousands on a tv, receiver, speakers, blu-ray player and gaming systems but only $50 on what they plug into?

I bought the Panamax when it was on sale at a great price. The Panamax power conditioner / surge protector is a must have for protecting home theater equipment. It has given me peace of mind knowing my investment in my system is protected. It works as advertised and look great.

This Panamax power conditioner protects my Sony A9F OLED TV, my BOSE surround sound system and Sony PlayStation 4 Pro. More than just a surge protector it improves both sound and picture clarity. If you are spending thousands of dollars on home theatre, you definitely must choose Panamax to protect and improve you investment.

No problems, subtle improvements in audio and video connected to it. It's not the sexy purchase in my home theatre, but it does what it advertises. If you want night and day differences you should be buying new speakers or a new tv/projector. Otherwise, this is a subtle upgrade.

A little expensive but worth the money. I feel secure with my electronics. As a bonus there is an improvement in sound and picture quality I feel I am getting the best out of my oled Tv and receiver. If you can spend the money I highly recommend it.

Outstanding power conditioner with easily visible indicators on the front and plenty of outlets, including a gaming/aux outlet easily accessible from the front. Solid build quality. I have owned Panamax power conditioners for the past 15 years and would definitely recommend them to others.

I had two of these, and my house got hit with a power spike. All of my appliances, and even my furnace and garage door openers were destroyed! All my electronics that were hooked up to these came out unscathed!

Nothing has blown up yet, so it must be working! Success. Lights in front are a bit over the top, but doesn't bother me from where I have put it. Could I have bought a cheaper one that works, yes, but why risk it?

I purchased to use with home stereo system. It works and protects my system from power surges and also monitors the flow of electricity and decreases electrical distortion. I would only recommend this for audiophiles, otherwise you are waisting your money, and would be better off getting a more basic surge protector which costs much less.

I have been wanting to purchase this product for over a year. When it went on sale, I jumped on the opportunity and was so excited to throw into my home theater setup. Getting the product out of the box, I was impressed with the high quality look and feel of the Panamax 5400 - you can tell this is a serious piece of equipment. I got the home theater hooked up, and sat down to watch a movie, and all i could hear before the movie turned on was this "buzz" coming from the Panamax. I sit about 8 feet away from my TV/TV stand where I had the Panamax located, and I could still hear the buzz from that distance away. I turned the last three banks off to see if that helped, and the "buzz" quieted down slightly, but still noticeable. Turning on the last 3 banks produced a louder buzz, to the point that I could hear it the entire time I was watching my movie. I watch my movies at about 80-85db, and despite that level of volume, if it was a talking segment of the movie (60-65db), I could hear the buzz coming from the surge protector. The buzz noise forced me to return the product. Amazing quality, and I'm sure it does a great job as a power center, but unless you're putting this product in a separate room from your home theater, the buzz noise is unacceptable and very distracting.

First off, this thing is a surge protector on a grand scale. And it also conditions the power, makes for smooth power. i bought 2 different models, one has volts in and out, the other has volts out, and Amps, i love the Amps one the best, i recommend

I have had me eye on this for years and got this for a ridiculous price (sale price and points was less than $180). When you have a lot of equipment something like this to protect your investment is a must.

Replaced older unit with less protection. Matches Marantz component stack of pre-amp and amplifiers beautifully. Purchased when on sale; had been following but was much too expensive at list price.

Was looking for a surge protector and was shown this one and was a great purchase. Not only has it been a great surge protector but has definitely improved my confidence that my items are protected.

Knowing that I have the Panamax guarding my equipment helps me rest easy. I have not had it occur In my home (yet) but have seen it happen elsewhere. The expense is well worth the security.

10 outlets on the rear are wonderful. My system is protected from all the lightning we get in SW Florida. Voltage regulation should insure no problems on all my connected equipment for many years to come.

Great Power conditioner and surge protector. My sound system performs much better and the quality of the audio and video is excellent. Also, it simplified my electrical cords arrangement.

Outlet Power Conditioner/Surge Protector is and has been a great addition to the stereo system. Also wish I would have done this earlier. Don't have to worry about major components getting damaged.
