Bought two of these to connect my new TV and the HT equipment. It has high current outlets to connect amps/receivers that draw a lot of current. Excellent buy for the money.

I recently purchased a Sony 55" 4K TV from BestBuy. The associate recommended that I also purchase the Panamax. He demonstrated how it reduces noise from coming through and possibly degrading the quality of picture and sound. He also said that it would protect my AV equipment by sacrificing itself if there was a power surge and thus prevent anything else from being damaged.

I was worried that if a storm comes it was fry what ever was connected to it with a cheap one, but with this one you don't have to worry!

I just this product to protect my home theater investment. Good quality product with enough ports for everything i want to plug in.

Hope there will never be a need for the protection of this surge protector, but happy to know we have a great unit.

if you have ever been in the situation where lightning is flashing across the sky and you suddenly ask yourself - "Did i turn my computer off and what will happen to it if I get a power surge" -well, this is what this little item is for...you can relax a little knowing that should lightning decide to try and strike your precious and probably very costly computer (or anything you value and that is electrical), before you can get to the power off switch, lets just say, this is a lot cheaper to replace than said electrical item. We did in fact have such an event not long after we purchased this protector, and nothing happened to anything, other than the generator had to do some work for a few minutes. it did its job, life carried on, no tears spilled, no warranties having to be cashed in. it works. Thank goodness.

After a lot of contemplating and reading information online about the importance of power conditioners for my a/v system, I decided to give it a try. As soon as I plugged everything in and turned it on, I instantly noticed an improvement in sound and video quality. The audio improvement was more noticeable. I'm very happy I purchased this and recommended it to family and friends.

The Panamax outlet keeps all of my cords centrally located and protects my equipment from surges.
