Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the air fryer and ease of use as top features of the HomeCHEF CD87KS Multioven Microwave. Many appreciate its multiple functions, including the microwave, broiler, and convection capabilities, but some find the controls require a learning curve and the appliance is noisy. The stainless steel finish is visually appealing to many, although it is prone to fingerprints.

I was skeptical about this microwave and the use of its sensor rather than the time setting. Seriously you have to give yourself about a week with it to feel comfortable about it. The senor is great and really is pretty accurate on cook and warming up functions. When it comes to frozen meals you need to stick with the time method of setting the microwave. I will say the one thing that annoys me is that the microwave will continue to make noise even after its done which is for its cool down mode. I can understand this function if you were using the microwave for the broil or bake settings. However, for just normal microwave use, I don't understand why it needs to run. The feet on the microwave are not the best as my device seems to slide a bit on the marble surface of my countertops. I am just going to get some rubber feet to help it still better. I have used the other functions like air-fry and it does the job. Definitely better than warming up the entire oven. Its definitely a steeper price to pay but Panasonic has always done well in the microwave department. Yes I am keeping my microwave!

Absolutley love this item. I cook with it all the time. Convection oven, microwave, airfryer all work as advertised. The sensor cooking for the microwave works very well so I never have to manually enter the time I want it to cook for. Highly recommend

Love the combo appliance. It saves a lot of counter space and works very well. The safety lock is a nuisance but can be disabled. It reenables when the power goes out though. Overall, a very nice oven.

Hi Bob! Thank you for your thoughtful 5-star review! We're pleased that the combo appliance is saving you counter space and performing efficiently, exactly what we strive for. We appreciate your feedback on the safety lock; while it's designed with care, we understand it can be inconvenient at times. We'll consider this in future improvements. Declutter a kitchen and eat healthier!

Purchased as a Christmas gift for us and to also save space in our very small kitchen. This combo has given us the chance to get rid of a microwave, an air fryer and a toaster oven!! The interior is quite large, has accessories, a brochure with several recipes and does not take up anymore space than a large microwave. It is a bit pricey (almost the price of a stove), but it is so worth it. Air fry cooking is so much healthier and clean up is easy. Looking forward to experimenting healthier meals. We highly recommend this product.

We love this as we replaced our broken airfryer and the existing microwave with this one that has more function and ease of use. Also take up less room on the countertop for a cleaner kitchen aesthetic. Easy to clean and use.

Great machine that handles basically everything you would need for cooking. Has a large footprint and likely would be better mounted (ours is on the counter). Controls take a bit of getting used to because the buttons are pretty streamlined (eg press convection oven multiple times to change temp, rotate dial to set time). Fairly pricey, but given the versatility and quality, worth it.

Bought this to replace our Cuisinart microwave/convection combo whose door became faulty after a decade. I was attracted to having the addition of the air fryer without another appliance taking room on our counter. I was sorely disappointed at how incredibly loud this thing is compared to our last one. In addition, I can wash and dry my hands and immediately leave a smudge on the button to open the door- there and around anywhere in the control pane,l no matter how careful I am. Also on the door even when I carefully open it from the bottom attempting to not touch the front of the door. I would have expected that for the price, noise and making it a bit more smudge-resistant in some areas would have been designed into it. I do appreciate the inside self-cleaning features it has but for me to have to go through that daily noise and daily cleaning no matter how clean and lightly my dainty fingers touch it, I could not give it any more stars.

This is a great appliance and all the functions work excellently. Cooks great. I would buy again. I would give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. That said, the reason it is not 5 stars is because: 1) As mentioned by others, the knob seems cheap. This is a nice oven, everything feels high quality, except that darn knob. And you use it just about every time. 2) The legs on the rack for the air fryer basket are so long, that it limits the food that you can put in it and not hit the heating coils at the top. I am sure that making them 1/2 shorter would greater improve the issue. But otherwise, it is great. Excellent. I don't think anyone would go wrong with this oven if you're looking to have four appliances in one and not take up counter space.

The 4 in 1 Home Chef is the best kitchen purchase that I have made in years. I was able to replace a microwave, air fryer and toaster oven for the counter space of a standard microwave and this unit is simple to use and performs superbly. I have had my unit about 3 weeks now and I use it every day. Space saving, reasonable priced and multi functional, I highly recommend

Excellent microwave/oven. My first meal was an uncooked pizza. I put it in the machine to start and watched it, cook it from both the top and underneath. The machine decided how long to cook it and it was just perfect when it was done. This machine is an outstanding 4-in-1 Microwave Multi-Oven with Air Fryer, Convection Bake, FlashXpress Broiler.

This is a pretty cool machine. It does nearly everything you would ever want to when it comes to cooking food. The inverter design is cool and It heats up faster than our oven. Only negatives I can think of are 1. the external fan is louder than I thought it would be, and 2. The panel buttons are identified with very small black print on a dark silver panel so reading them is tricky. It would be nice if they made it in white. Note that the specifications page on the website indicated this was a 220 VAC machine but when I opened the box it had a 120 VAC plug, the nameplate indicated it was 120 VAC also. Wonder how many people didn’t buy this microwave because of this misprint, or worse, hired an electrician to install a 220 outlet? I almost did!
