My new microwave

When I read the specs it was right to suit my needs. I just had to get use to the door lock feature. It's great if you have small children that like to push the door open when food cooked and still hot.

The grey background is nice it doesn't show the food splatter as well as the white background.

Just 13 days beyond the return window an icon in the appearance of a key showed up on my screen and locked out all features. Prior to this, I noticed that the door didn't shut securily unless I pushed it in just the right place and the keys were hard to press unless I pushed them precisely in the center with stealth precision.

We love this microwave. It works great. The lock function is quite annoying but there is a way around it.

Unit broke after 6 mo and warranty not useful.

Repair under warranty involves getting the unit to an "authorized repair center" two hours away (then making another trip to pick it up), or spending serious money to ship it. The box and packing materials got thrown away a couple of months ago. Disappointing. I chose this specific, more expensive model because I had 10+ years good service with the the two previous ones.

LG 0.9 Cubic ft Counter top Microwave

Worked ok the first 2 months not as fast heating as our former large over the stove microwave but was still ok . Went to use it a day ago it made horrible rattling moaning , clanking , grinding noise , no longer works taking it back to Best Buy today

DEFECTIVE - USELESS WARRANTY

We had an electrician come out to replace the breaker, check our outlet wiring, etc. He moved the microwave to other outlets as well and it continued to trip AND the exterior of the microwave felt hot. It is defective; I've contacted Panasonic but so far the warranty is useless. AVOID purchasing this!
