It is a very good size: ample room for whatever I cook, without taking up too much room, and easy to operate. Cleaning is easy. My old Panasonic lasted 14 years: I am looking forward to many years with this model. Best Buy made getting a new one easy!

This microwave is fantastic. IT feels well-built, the buttons are responsive and you can just enter a time and hit START. No need to find a tiny "cook time" button to allow custom cook times like on so many modern microwaves. 1200 watts of power means you can always choose the shortest recommended cook time on any package at default settings. The stainless steel front finish matches my other appliances. Great buy.

As far as looks go, it is aesthetically appealing, so that’s a plus. It works great and not to big and bulky. I love the different modes, and the ease of use. The reheat option has been my favorite so far. The door handle is easy to open which is nice compared to some that are a bit harder to push to open. The only reason I have this 4 stars is that it didn’t sit level on the counter and wabbles a tiny bit. One of the legs on the bottom front is a tad bit shorter. These can be adjusted but I can’t seem to loosen it enough to adjust it. Osier my husband will figure this out.. Fingers crossed. Over all, I’m satisfied with choice for our family. We have 4 kids, and they manage to Ouse if all the functions just fine as well. Which is a plus! The child lock feature is nice as well as easy to turn off.

But the two side panels are ugly and should have been painted black. And the feet on this are some kind of slippery hard plastic instead of rubber. So whenever you push buttons on the microwave, it slides to the backsplash. Which is very annoying! Other than those 2 complaints, I Love Panasonic microwaves. Always my first pick. And bonus, it was on sale.

It heats up evenly without any issues, defrosts meat very well without leaving a funny taste, and has functions to choose the right size of popcorn bags and pops them very well, the ONLY reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me is because I don’t like that I cannot turn off the lock function on the door. It can get in the way sometimes, and there is an extra step before you can open it. Otherwise, this microwave is great!

Panasonic Microwave Oven Very Reliable

The last Panasonic microwave I had for about 20years and it still worked and was replaced because of some rust in the groove under the glass turntable plate.

Have used it for over a year and a half with no problem. As with all new microwaves, have to use a sequence to open after using. In this case press 0 then the door will unlock and can be opened. A safety feature (required) not explained very well in the instructions.

It's a little louder than my previous Panasonic microwave but it heats very well. I would still buy it again because it is easy to set up plus I like the safety feature for young kids to prevent them from opening the microwave to a hot container.

Nice Microwave, but 1200 Watts is too much power

This microwave has too much power, and I wish we had bought a 1100 Watt microwave again. On everything we cook, we have to figure out how to lower the power (or else cremate a TV dinner at the regular setting). One good thing is that this microwave cooks evenly. I will never buy a 1200 Watt Microwave again--it's just too much power & too easy to overcook.
