It is a good size, but leaves about 7" of counter space in front. The oven operates easily and efficiently with a rotating turntable and the inner surface is easy to clean. I appreciate the sensor cook and defrost features.

Starting March 2024, federal regulations require all microwave ovens to include an automatic electronic door lock safety function. his feature is designed to prevent burns, accidental use, and unintended access, particularly by children or those unfamiliar with the appliance. Please note that the door lock function can be turned off by pressing Defrost, then Timer and then Popcorn within 10 seconds. - S

And then the instructions for disengaging it are somewhat obscure. I really had to take my time with the instructions to figure it out. But the microwave does work as it's supposed to. And I am happy with the machine.

Cooks food nicely with the proper settings. Display readout is good and the controls are easy to use. It is not as heavy as my old unit which is nice. However it is noisy loud when operating and creates noise in my adjacent AM radio. Overall a good purchase.

Excellent product with great features

I ran a price check on this model and Best Buy was the only retailer running a special. Easy decision. Fits perfectly in the countertop corner. Quieter than most other brands. Like the child safety feature that requires an additional press to open after cooking is completed. If you decide to purchase this model, you won’t be disappointed.

It is not as sturdy as my older Panasonic microwave but works well. My main complaint is that if you are trying to use it again (within a few minutes of your last cycle), you will need to press the reset button first. Then, you can run another heating cycle

Microwaves have changed for the better

Started look shabby we brought a new Panasonic. We are shocked by the difference in cooking. Defrost actually defrosts no cooked edges. A danish from the freeze soft like it was first baked. ReHeating chicken moist and heated evenly, not dry or rubbery. We highly recommend a Panasonic microwave not sure if it will last as long as our last one. Highly Recommended

It does have a feature that annoys me, though. It has a child lock on the door so it won't open until you press open and the zero. People should watch their kids and then we wouldn't have to be inconvenienced by crap like this.

The sensor works accurately for reheating and cooking shortcuts. The unit is very powerful. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS SO YOU USE IT PROPERLY AND GET THE BEST PERFORMANCE OUT OF IT. I think many people just hit the timer and run the appliance on high and end up destroying the machine and ruining food.
