This microwave has too much power, and I wish we had bought a 1100 Watt microwave again. On everything we cook, we have to figure out how to lower the power (or else cremate a TV dinner at the regular setting). One good thing is that this microwave cooks evenly. I will never buy a 1200 Watt Microwave again--it's just too much power & too easy to overcook.

Great Microwave Oven

It has a great control panel and especially like the various "shortcut" options. Clock could be a little larger, but overall I recommend this microwave oven. Just hope I get many years service from it.

And then the instructions for disengaging it are somewhat obscure. I really had to take my time with the instructions to figure it out. But the microwave does work as it's supposed to. And I am happy with the machine.

It is a good size, but leaves about 7" of counter space in front. The oven operates easily and efficiently with a rotating turntable and the inner surface is easy to clean. Will not overcook your food!

The sensor works accurately for reheating and cooking shortcuts. The unit is very powerful. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS SO YOU USE IT PROPERLY AND GET THE BEST PERFORMANCE OUT OF IT. I think many people just hit the timer and run the appliance on high and end up destroying the machine and ruining food.

It is not as sturdy as my older Panasonic microwave but works well. My main complaint is that if you are trying to use it again (within a few minutes of your last cycle), you will need to press the reset button first. Then, you can run another heating cycle

It does have a feature that annoys me, though. It has a child lock on the door so it won't open until you press open and the zero. People should watch their kids and then we wouldn't have to be inconvenienced by crap like this.
