I bought a Sharp microwave that worked OK however it didn't have the features and class that this Panasonic has. This Panasonic outclasses others with engineering, features, and quality. Only time will tell if it will last longer than the others.

The interior is gray rather than the white of the old one, but there is plenty of light to see what's being cooked/heated and plenty of light to clean it. We did turn off the child safety lock because we donot need it. Highly recommend.

However between the childlock and trying to figure how to disable it. One thing i lliked on my old microwave that this doesnt do is automatically turns on after pushing the quick heat 30 secs. It wont automatically turn on if u just push the 1 only for 1 minute. Something silly but i loved that feature

It replaced an older Panasonic of the same size. Not a fan of the child lock feature but have kept it from locking us out and easy to use. Quieter than the one it replaced as well--smooth running turntable. Meets all of our needs. Best Buy had it waiting for us in less than an hour after ordering on line for pickup.

Heats up food, etc very well. Good size. Does show prints more than I would like for it to and a light up display would have been 5 stars. Otherwise it's a good purchase and I'd recommend or buy again

It is very consistent with the heating and much faster than the one i had before. I just find having to press 0 before being able to open the door annoying but there's a way to get around that. I've just been too lazy to do so.

It takes up less space than my previous GE microwave did. (The GE died within two years of buying it.) It does require more pushing of buttons than my last one, but I've gotten used to it.
