I have had the microwave for a year or so and the dial is still annoying. Spinning it over and over is not fun. And then when you push the button, a lot of times it will add or subtract time. Maybe just maybe my dial doesn’t work as well as others because I am surprised there aren’t more complaints. I will never purchase a microwave with a dial again because of this microwave.

Rotary dial works in smaller intervals

I liked the rotary dial of the previous model so I wanted to find another(You don't have to press buttons or turn lights on). However, when this rotary dial is engaged it moved at a smaller interval, taking multiple turns. I liked the movement of the prior model better. It still works good.

The time spinner moves by 5 seconds and then when you hit a minute it moves by 10 second increments. It seems you can't do a time defrost either, only by weight. it's very frustrating. Besdies these view things, it does its job and is nice looking.
