Poor workmanship

The microwave was working. It has good features but all time controls are through a rotary knob which can be a little painful. Called Panasonic, they suggested returning it. Best Buy did a very quick replacement and by Saturday, we got the replacement. The replacement has a dent on the side of the gray panel which is visible. Poor workmanship. Anyway I am tired of returns and hope that it functions as a microwave. Our last microwave from Magic Chef lasted 13 years. But newer models of magic chef have poor customer ratings too.

Overall a great purchase

It's strong! But it does a beautiful job at sensing heat needed and a great job at defrosting. I love it overall and am glad I purchased it.

Thaw was a bit complicated. There are lots of instructions and lots of safety warnings making this microwave seem delicate and problematic. Mine does not have a roller ring. Is it supposed to?

Looks nice and the dark interior is convenient for cleaning, as it doesn't stain. I wish it were a little smaller, as it takes up lots of counter space, heavy, but it's a very good buy.
