I am writing this review in hopes that Panasonic continues to make this product and products that have well thought out design. The dial, sensor cook options, defrost, I use almost every button and the dial with ease. The dial (and back lit blue light) are awesome. I hope this products works so long as I need it to.

Great microwave, ours (same model) lasted 14 years

It has been a great microwave. It must be a popular model since Panasonic has carried it for so long. I just ordered another one, so let's hope the new one is made with the same quality.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR - I've had this less than a month, used it 3 days, and it has multiple failure points. ------ We bought this on Oct 2nd and unboxed it last week (Oct 29th), which means it is outside of Best Buy's return policy. There is a pretty substantial ding on the front panel (the packaging itself was undamaged) and the dial is sticky and doesn't always register. It microwaved food ok for 3 days (I thought my LG did a better job cooking dense foods) and is now squealing loudly and is not cooking food. The door sensor and control panel are failing in our 3yr old LG, and I was looking for something that would last longer than 3 years...this definitely wasn't it. We live in remote Alaska and shipping this microwave back for repairs is cost prohibitive, so it looks like this was an absolute waste of hard earned $$$. While it's our fault for not testing this within the return period, this product should have never passed QC. ------ Recommendation: ------ DO NOT BUY.
