simple. works great. just need to be aware that it only has one output on the back, a single HDMI connector. this very likely can cause you complication getting 7.1/5.1 surround sound if: 1 - your tv doesn't pass 7.1/5.1 through to your stereo AMP OR 2 - you don't have HDMI input on your stereo AMP.

Simple great 4k player. I don't get why we need wifi if you already have a 4k smart tv. I guess i'll hook it up for updates but seriously simple and inexpensive. I'm sure there's those with more bells and whistles but do you really need them?

Amazing quality and it really makes my old dvd's pop on my 4k tv however for 180 bucks even though I got it on sale for 100 not having wifi is super ghetto. I would have expected it to have wifi for sure but sadly panasonic went cheap as possible but that's nothing new. I would love to give this 5 stars but not having wifi is a huge let down. I had to order a wifi to ethernet adapter on ebay for 13 bucks and then I'll get it to work with apps and be able to update. So if you don't need or want any of the features this has or have a hardwire available then this is for you. Quality can't be beat.

Great dvd player, I always trust Panasonic. Only had it for a few weeks but it is working great. I now have this one and my 2nd one is a multi region for movies of all the different regions. Easy to use, great picture on dvds and a sleek design. Highly recommend.

This player plays discs. It doesn’t stream stuff. It doesn’t have apps. It is simple to use and does one thing. And that’s why we bought it: we don’t need multiple devices to watch YouTube. So this player excels in its simplicity.

Simple no frills DVD player without apps! This was important to me. With all streaming services on the TV itself, I did not want another thing that has apps. Excellent video and audio quality. The kids have watched Moana and some other movies using this and I can say the quality is top notch.

It is really bare bones in terms of features but it excels in what it does have. The picture and sound are flawless. Met my expectations and definitely worth the price since the ps5 in unavailable everywhere.

I bought this product because Google had listed it as “region unlocked.” Not important unless you plan on watching physical media from the UK - which I did. Despite that, this is a great budget 4K player, but just a decent player overall. The operating system is a bit sluggish and bare. Because there is no WiFi compatibility, any update will also have to be done while either connect to an Ethernet cable or via USB thumb drive. The picture it displayed was decent. It’s not as sharp as I would have liked it to be, but for what it’s worth it did display 4K content.

It works OK but I don’t recommend. The eject button doesn’t always respond in a timely all the time. I sometimes had trouble getting lips and voice in synch. I found restarting the TV usually cleared the problem up. I purchased this thinking it would perform better than my XBox 1, which it does when all the other factors weren’t bothering me. It’s too problematic so I’m returning and will ship for a doffeeent brand.

I got this last year cyber monday and it has been worth every penny in the past year. I have watched many 4k uhd movies such as harry potter and others and it has been such a great experience.

I didn't expect such a great 4k player for the low price. It takes regular blue ray movies and makes them so much better. The picture from 4k is great also. I have it hooked up to my receive and the sound is incredible.

I bought this to replace a DVD/Blu Ray player (which I had had for several years) that worked fine but the remote broke so couldn't use the player any longer. I feel that my old player worked better than this one. It was more reliable. This one seems to show the picture when it wants to. It could be that it doesn't really play regular DVDs as indicated by the description, so then the description needs to be changed to reflect what it can actual play. Given the cost, I am disappointed. I might have to replace it already and I have only used it for less than 6 months.

I purchased this to go with my new 4K Tv....the picture is crisp and audio is stunning with a 7.1 sound system Dolby Atmos is amazing for discs set up for it I would recommend buying this especially when its on sale

Unit small, takes up less space. No need for WIFI because HDTV already WIFI compatible. Sale price made the decision easy.

Bare bones but works great for what is needed. It looks pretty basic also. I do like how it integrates with my TV. Good system for what you pay for.

It is a very nice machine. Pretty quick respose time to the control. It does take some time to load (as do most of them). Remote control could have better reception. And I wish it had an optical or coax out.

This is a good budget, entry-level 4k Player. It doesn't have any bells and whistles and no streaming/wi-fi. Contrast levels are good and so is the HD. It also has 3D blu ray capability which is a nice plus.

At the sale price of $100, this Panasonic 4K Ultra Blu-ray player is a fantastic value. It included a very nice remote and has a great on-screen user interface. If you don't need Wi-Fi (it includes Ethernet), there is no better 4K player in this price range.

A fantastic no-frills 4K player for only a small premium to a non-4K blu ray machine. If you don’t need WiFi or many bells and whistles but want a fast, responsive blu-ray player that can handle 4K disks and upscale with ease, then this is your machine.

Its size is compact and its picture quality is excellent. One main drawback is that even though it has an Ethernet connection, it does not support DLNA.
