This bare bone uhd 4K player delivers a stunning picture. Watching The 4K movie John Wick on 65 inch Samsung qr70 is absolutely beautiful. If you don’t need a 4K player that streams then this is the one for you.

Even though it allows Dolby Atmos, it doesn't play Dolby Vision. So consider that before buying. If not having Dolby Vision isn't a deal break, try it out?

The Panasonic Dp-UB150 was easy to hookup and had a great picture right from the start. It has 4KHDR & PLAYS 3D Blue-rays,Dvr's & CD'S.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We purchased this DVD player 3 months ago for $149.99. It slowly started to have problems. Now it will only play DVD's 70% of the time. The other 30% of the time it skips forward or freezes. I purchased a 4 year geek squad plan with this, which we usually do with electronics from Best Buy. When I called to get help with this product I was told I have to bring it to the store (200 miles away) or ship it (at my cost) to the store to be repaired. I was also told that I could call the manufacturer and see if they could help. After the many prompts to get thru to the right department I was told they do not offer any technical support for DVD players (FYI). I could look online for troubleshooting :( Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY upset that I cannot get any assistance with this without putting more $ into this DVD player. I would NEVER recommend buying anything from Best Buy. Or to waste $ on their Geek Squad Protection. Also, I would NEVER recommend buying Panasonic, as they do not have the proper support for their products.

Great picture quality in Blu-ray. Similar in 4K. Plays DVDs with better picture and remote was compatible with universal Samsung.

We've mainly used this for playing music cds so far and it works as intended with our new smart TV/receiver set up. The size is a little large compared to another Blu-Ray player we have, but the sleek look fits with the entertainment area just fine. There are only two buttons on the front (open/close and power), everything else needs to be handled through the remote. We didn't need any streaming services in a Blu-ray player since our TV has that capability and decided to spend a little extra on this as we were thinking that it may make the usage life of this last a little longer by purchasing the 4K player.

I've been using this machine for almost 5 months now and I'm really not liking it. It was fine at first and the picture quality seems fine. But a few days ago, the remote completely stopped working (batteries are fine). There's no way to use the player without the remote, so I had to hook up one of my other machines. Then, for no apparently reason, it started working again. Now the problem is - if I pause the movie, often times it will not start playing again. It just freezes up, so I have to eject the disk, close the tray, and of course the stupid thing does not remember where I left off so I have to go through the entire film to continue. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! I have owned many DVD players and was excited to upgrade to Blu-Ray, but this machine is frustrating and annoying! I would definitely NOT recommend it.

I got just what I ordered. Excellent quality , very good price(I got it on sale with The Deal of The Day) Panasonic has always been a good brand for me . I would recommed it to anyone.

Purchased for a family member so they can watch all of their older DVD’s. Upscales older DVD’s for viewing on a 4K smart TV... It does a fantastic job of doing this... Simple, basic and to the point!!! A great value!

Just as good as some of the higher priced entry level 4K players. It may be missing a feature or two, but it’s a pretty good player at a low price.

It’s pretty solid if you can get it on a sale price, if not there are other players that do actual 4k and not upscaling for a bit more.

The Panasonic blue-ray player works great. installs in just a few minutes.Set up was easy, one cable from the blue-ray to the television and your watching your favorite movie. would recommend this blue-ray.

We bought an "open box" version of this blu-ray and I was thoroughly happy! Super super great definition!! I don't usually buy panasonic, I typically go Sony, I am now a panasonic believer lol.

We like the Panasonic 4K. We have many DVD which we have purchased. Also we like the 4K and Blue Ray capability.

I like it. Very simple to set up. Very simple to operate. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Plays all my old DVD and new 4K movies. Works well with my new Samsung 4K TV.

I love my 4K Blu-ray disc player. With my 4K tv and 4K cables, it has given me best experience in watching 4 K films.

Im so glad i picked this amazing Panasonic 4k player with Dolby Atmos up the HDR is WOW the sound is so realistic crystal color picture as well i highly recommend this beautiful player to anybody

Great entry level 4K Blu-ray player. Picture looks great and perfect for the living room if we aren’t entertaining are not in our Media Room

Didn't work as expected... I connected it to my av receiver then the tv (pass through using hdmi). 4k disc worked fine with great sound and picture but the trouble began when I tried to watch a Blu-ray movie. The disc would not load and had the same issues with a regular dvd. Switched hdmi cables, same results. I connected directly to the tv and then all formats worked. Since this unit is bare bones there was no way to watch the movie and listen through my setup using digital optical. Panasonic was of absolutely no use so I returned it. Best buy was great with the return, no issues. To panasonic support team, I gave you a shot and you failed miserably. Lesson learned and I'll get a Sony next time

At first wasn't sure about going with 4K DVD player, but glad I decided to. Can see a lot better picture quality, even if not using a 4K DVD disc.
