Solid BluRay player, not so great remote

Didn't need the ability to access apps as the SmartyTV does that. This BluRay player met all the criteria. We've used it a couple of times. It works well and the image is far superior than our old DVD player. The only negative is that the remote is not very reactive to making the player do what we want. Even sitting a few feet directly in front of the unit requires multiple p[uses on the buttons to get the player to react. And yes there are new batteries in the remote. If not for the remote issues I'd rate it at 5*.

Good Simple 4k uhd blu ray player

Usb movies played pretty good too have not tried regular blu-ray yet or dvd

Best bang for buck!

Only con is it doesn't support dolby vision but my Samsung q60r doesn't have it only HDR10+ so its perfect for my setup.

We purchased this 4K Blu-ray player for $99 on Black Friday and it’s Fantastic! I bought it to play DVDs that aren’t released on Blu-ray or Digital and it definitely delivers!! I just played The Irishman (2019) that I just purchased on Blu-ray and it looks phenomenal & 4K quality picture. I also played Payback (1999) DVD & it looks amazing! A terrific purchase & I recommend the Rocketfish 4K HDMI cords to enhance the view!
