Great Panasonic player

I use this to play 4k movies on a 1080p epson projector. The output is still 1080p but HDR can also be displayed as a benefit. So far very good and functional, load times seem almost the same as regular blu ray. Honestly, 1080p seems good enough for me right now.

Suggest doing online search for complete manual so you can take advantage of all of the features that this unit offers.

Great performance

I replaced it with this Panasonic unit. Pana performs better prolly cause of the newer technology. One big difference is the much faster loading time of the Pana v the Elite player. Its a stripped down version but for play back it works great.

Don’t want the WiFi

The navigating around disc menus feels a bit clumsy. I noticed issues with Christmas special discs that could not up convert automatically to 4K. The solution is to change the auto setting to off.

I bought this to replace a Vizio 3d Bluray that is no longer supported by Vizio and was having issues playing DVDs. This works great and now I can watch DVDs and Blurays again! I can't comment on the 4K resolution but it looks great on my 65" Vizio 1080p 3D TV.

Quality Player

I cannot speak as to the Atmos audio for I do not have a surround setup in the room where the unit is used. It is quiet and seems well built.

No wifi, but all other aspects of this 4k blu-ray player are great.
