Good for the money

Hugely Disappointing

Further, the picture quality is less sharp than hoped for. The disappointment continues with a TV DVD not “saving” the last viewed spot. The same disc did properly work in my Sony player.

Decent device - a brick without the remote

The two buttons on the top of the unit (Power and Eject) don't always respond when clicked... sometimes have to press a few times for the unit to respond. No Play/Pause button, so if you ever lose or misplace the remote, you're pretty much screwed.

Not impressed at all

For the price I’m surprised this doesn’t work as well as the $99 Sony Blue Ray player I bought in the past. The door rarely shuts on button command and you have to manually close. The remote is also slow to react. Works ok playing movies but for price I’d have expected it to work without problems day one.
