It also does not resume play when you power off the machine. The setup was seamless and flawlessly connected to my 5G WiFi.

Good 4K, poor up-conversions

We wound up returning it

The Panasonic is considered higher-end so I thought it would be good. It worked fine with older DVD's, but newer ones were an issue. It seemed the unit was looking for something on the DVDs that wasn't there. Finally, we took it back to Best Buy (they were excellent in just taking it back (no questions asked). We then took the advice of a sales associate to buyer a much cheaper unit. The new, cheaper one works great on all our DVD's!

Panasonic 4K player

Middle of the road 4K player

Blue ray light.

Unit broke after 2 months of light use. JUNK

I opened the disc tray one day after getting an error on the screen and it reeked of burnt plastic. I'm unfortunately out of the return period at Best Buy so now I'm stuck dealing with getting a replacement through the manufacturer. Why does Best Buy sell something so poorly made? It's a shame that Best Buy won't honor the products they sell after such a short period of time unless you buy an extended warranty. Two months of use is nothing. Take this one off the shelves Best Buy. It's junk.

Does an ok job

Freezes up

Sometimes the player works and sometimes it doesn’t I thought it was maybe the DVDs I was watching so I bought a new player a different brand a Sony. And that player works fine. I wish I could return this because I only had about 30 days but their return policy is 15 days so I’m not sure that I will want to buy from Best Buy again other than that I left Best Buy.

Too pricey

4 month lifespan

Will read certain cds for music, but any dvds, blurays or 4k uhd discs it claims are incompatible. Occasionally will say that disc contains no compatible data, or will open up folders as if looking for dat just to say no data available. Waste of money, lasted long enough that I can't return or exchange.

No fast forward no rewind no pause ... Nothing. Not even with my 4k samsung remote. All I can do is play n that's it.

Horrible player even worse return issue

And yes, I upgraded the Firmware. I tried multiple discs as well. Horrible experience made worse by the fact that my return was delivered three days ago and Best Buy still says in transit. This will be my last order at Best Buy
