this is a nice simple 4k player without all the apps which are already on the tv

Bought it at the local Best Buy and the price was good for my budget and works pretty well for my 4K blu rays.

It is incredible. It is very close to watching in movie theater. I finally learned how to make popcorn close to theater quality. Yay! Nothing like sitting at home enjoying a fabulous movie while eating great food. I’m sure there is obviously a step up, but for the price. What can I say about this one. Go out and buy it. You will not regret it.

A great budget device for a great video quality output (UHD and 4k). Highly recommended for home theater experience!

It’s pretty basic, but the picture and clarity are nice! Easy to operate, it does everything I thought it would do very well! It suits my needs Xcode

Works Great. Blue Ray is great. Easy to use . Does not take up a lot of space and nice to know I can now play blue ray and DVD.

Simple to operate. Clear picture. However, I could not get the screen size expanded to fit the tv screen. Might be doing something wrong.

So far, player works fine. Great price when bought on sale from BestBuy. The issue I have is that I cannot connect thru a 4K HDMI switch and 4K HDMI cables. I posted a question on the product on amzn, and received a response from "Team Panasonic" that I need to connect player directly to the TV's HDMI input.

No thrills, just a 4K player and it works as expected. The main reason I bought this particular Panasonic was due to the actual size of the player; the LG, Samsung and Sony were wider and would not fit it the spot I needed. The Panasonic fit perfectly.

I was looking for a basic 4K Blu-ray player. This one fits the bill. It doesn't have wi-fi or streaming apps. I use a Fire Stick for that, so this player was perfect. The image quality is good on my 70" 4K TV. Overall, I'm very happy with it. One thing that I didn't look at before purchasing was the outputs. It only has a single HDMI output. My older surround sound system uses an optical digital input instead of HDMI. I was able to hook up a converter that goes from HDMI to an HDMI for video and an optical output for audio. The only other thing that I find frustrating is that the eject button isn't very responsive. If you hit the button, drop in a disc, and hit the button again to retract the tray, sometimes it takes a while for it to retract.

This DVD/CD player has an awesome picture when you run a 4k movie on a 4k TV!!! My only 2 complaints are: When you pause to get up for a snack and then press play, the player will hesitate and then stumble before working great again. Every time you power up, you have to choose English and then Movie. Other than that...awesome!

This Panasonic 4K Blu-Ray player has met all expectations and was very easy to hook up and start watching high quality videos on.

Very easy to set up. I've only watched 2 4K movies on it so far but both looked good. Simple, easy to use interface.

'Basic' but in the best way possible. The fact that it can play most anything but doesn't have streaming capabilities is actually a plus in my book. I purchased the Ultra HD Blu-ray player to avoid streaming and to get the full experience with discs loaded with the data. It gets the job done and is perfectly affordable. Especially on sale.

Got this player on sale and have been mostly happy with the audio/video quality, ease of use and set-up. The biggest issue for me has been that the tray does not always open or close up when you press the button on the unit or even with the remote eject button. Other than that I have been very happy with this player.

Really nice 4K Bluray Player for the price. It supports HDR 10+, so if you have a Samsung TV this is a good choice. It does not support Dolby Vision. My one complaint is that the loading is not snappy; there is a delay for loading discs from the moment you place the disc in the tray to getting to the main menu. Not a big deal but I would dock half a star for this. Really 4.5 stars.

Bought this player to replace a couple of old (10-20 years) ones. Easy setup, doesn't skip - one of the old ones did - good quality.

This is a very good dvd player for 4K televisions. I got this for my husband for Christmas and he said that it is perfect.
