Affordable 4K Bluray player with HDR 10+

It supports HDR 10+, so if you have a Samsung TV this is a good choice. It does not support Dolby Vision. My one complaint is that the loading is not snappy; there is a delay for loading discs from the moment you place the disc in the tray to getting to the main menu. Not a big deal but I would dock half a star for this. Really 4.5 stars.

Great 4K blu ray player

If you are one of those, this is a high quality basic 4k blu ray player for someone who doesn't need the smart connectivity in your blu ray player. It does its job well which is to play 4k blu rays. Quality is excellent. Only wish it had wifi capability for firmware updates. It does have ethernet port though.

I had purchased others that wouldn't play DVD's, even though they said they would, but they glitched up, or froze up, or wouldn't get past the menu. This one has no problems what so ever. I would have given it 5 stars but the drawer doesn't always close, either from the remote or the button on the top of the unit, and I have to close it manually.

I wanted one for playing my old DVDs and CDs, but also have friends that have Blu-ray discs so I borrowed a few. Let me say this is the best player for the money. Even old DVDs are crystal clear. All I can say is wow! I hate I waited so long!

Its night and day watching my physical media on this player opposed to using my old sanyo. Not too expensive, but not cheap quality either. I also have a Sony 4k player and can’t tell the difference in picture quality, but I am still very happy with this unit and the price. I recommend it.

You can spend much more and get much less. Has everything you’d want or expect in terms of high end video & excellent audio for a mid grade surround setup. If you’re more into the surround and have a better to great Dolby surround setup, you’ll be happiest with the 820 or UB9000, if you can swing the $$$.
