Let me start by saying this is an awesome shaver. I have used rotary shavers for many years and they are just ok but never gave me a close shave. Rotary shavers are less cost but don't last very long so I have to buy replacement shavers often. So I decided to try this Panasonic Arc 5 and I am so glad I did. This razor gives a nice close shave consistently. I really like the included Cleaning/Charging station and it does an excellent job cleaning and drying the razor. I have no regrets spending the money on this razor and I highly recommend it.

This electric shaver gives me the closest shaves of any electric shaver I have ever used. It's also much more affordable than the Philips Norelco 9000 shaver I had been using for years. It doesn't irritate my neck as a blade would and I have a pretty thick beard. It charges quickly as well, a couple of hours from a complete discharge.

Provides a close shave. Easy to clean. The charge lasts for a few days, great during travel.

Awesome electric shaver! I compared the shave comfort and effectiveness of this shaver, my old shaver, and a blade. This shaver did a great job, and I was surprised that it was not far behind a blade regarding final smoothness. However, it was more convenient, more comfortable (no pulling of hair even on several days of growth), and at least as fast. It cleans very easily, and it holds a good charge. The trimmer is well designed and cut hair without nicking skin. No regrets on this one...

Got my first shave with it this morning and I am astonished at how close a shave I got. I simply wet my face with warm water to open up the pores and skipped the shaving cream. In about 8 minutes I had a shave about as close as a disposable razor gets me l, which I honestly wasn’t expecting from an electric shaver, even one as good as this. A bit of mild irritation followed but I expect that on my first day with an electric shaver. No cuts, either. The grip can be a little slippery when wet and I’m not sure how well this would hold up if accidentally dropped from 6 feet up, but other than that the quality is good. Overall, I’m very impressed. My facial hair isn’t what I’d consider extremely thick but it’s certainly dense, and this had no trouble cutting right through it. I recommend it.

After thoroughly researching electric razors, I decided on the Panasonic Arc 5. I have used the razor for a couple months now and cannot find any noticeable flaws. The shave is close, and the cleaning/charging stand keeps the blades free of clippings. This razor is about 2/3 the price of the Braun Series 9, and I believe the performance of the two to be comparable. If you are I. The market for an electric razor, this is the one you want.

I have had this for a few months now and I would have to say this is a great product. You can shave with it in any direction without getting razor burn. The cleaning station works very well. Battery life is excellent. Overall I would highly recommend this product.

Your Arc5 shave gets better every day you use it. It cuts extremely close without leaving any rash burn and with your skin feeling smooth. Its 5 heads gives you a very quick shave normally within 2-3 minutes. Then all you have to do is put the shaver in the Cleaning/Charging station to keep it like new. Was skeptical at first, but what an improvement over my old shaver. Highly recommend you try this one.

It’s great for keeping my stubble how I like it, its great quality but sometimes leave a coulle strays. Definitely would buy it again but it is a bit pricey.

This shaver is amazing! I have used it for a month and have gotten a great, close and smooth shave each time. I love the charging/cleaning station which was simple to setup and easy to use. The cleaning solution has a clean and mild scent and is very effective. I’ve used a rotary shaver for 25 years and wish I had switched to this foil one years ago. Buy one and you (and your wife) will be happy you did!
