I am extremely impressed by this razor. I did get it for $50 off but I looked up reviews before I did and people were saying it was the best out there and I do have a Braun Series 5 that I got from my grandfather that passed so I don't know if he ever changed any of the blades but the Braun was pretty rough on my face every time but with this razor I didn't feel any roughness and it took about 8 minutes before I was finished but compared to the Braun not being able to get everything this one is great and my face is baby soft.

Was ok but you have to by the cleaning solution separately.

I wasn't expecting more from this Panasonic Arc5. Does the job perfectly and the price is affordable compared with the Braun. I m very happy. Would never pay the Braun's price if I can have the same quality for less money. Bravo Panasonic. Good job.

I read a review about how electric razors have changed over the years and decided to try one. I purchased the Panasonic - Arc5, and after using it for several weeks, that review was dead on. This razor is all that it is advertised. Absolutely a great razor. By the way, I am 79 years old.

This electric razor is awesome! It is very easy to use. You get a very close shave with no razor marks. The charging station keeps it ready to use at all times. Very neat setup. Works great shaving my autistic grandson. You can get a quick close shave all the time!

This purchase was to replace the same model after about 5 years. I love it, shaves as close as a blade. Other companies make replacement detergent making it much more economical than the cartridges that other high end razors require for cleaning. The best electric razor I have ever used.

So far, it’s AWESOME! Smoothest shave of my life. Takes a few tries to get around my Adam’s apple, but that’s to be expected. It’s a little noises when cleaning, but it doesn’t bother me. Love that it’s so easy to clean with just soap and water. Really hoping this razor lasts me years.

So far I am loving this electric shaver. Gives a very close shave and the cleaning station is a great addition. It cleans the razor well and is not very loud during the cleaning cycle. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have been using this product for a while now and it has done what I've needed. Definitely has saved me money on buying razors but note it is not the closest shave like razors will get you.

This razor provides a pretty close shave. I haven't had any issues with razor burn from using it. I would recommend this razor

Hands down the best cordless razor I have ever used. Kind of expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for. The charge lasts a long time and you get the smoothest shave ever. I love it, replacement heads need to be a little cheaper. All and all I love it!

I usually believe in getting my money's worth so went and bought the most expensive shaver in the store that day...I don't think I ever had a worse experience. My last one was lower-mid range and had it for years. I usually used the little clipper part as I hate being close-shaven but i did the job just right. But this thing- the worst shave of my life. It chokes on longer beard hairs if i let it grow out a little. I tried being going baby-face a couple times and it was the most painful shaves ever- CONSTANTLY tearing at hairs and leaving patches that I had to go over multiple times on the same spot till my face is raw and feeling terrible once finally done for the next day or 2. The trimmer doesn't work unless I take the entire head of the shaver off. It does its thing but shaves super close but cant even do that without quite a few pulls. I'll give credit for the aesthetic designs and the dock was pretty nifty although the self-cleaning mode seemed a bit gimmicky more than effective. The last shaver was $80 some years back. I even had some $30 Wahl one that did better than this one that I paid almost $200 for.

Fantastic shaver. Leaves face and head very smooth. Not razor shave smooth but much better than any other electric shaver I have had so far. Battery life is great, and the cleaner works well.

Expensive for what it is but outshines my older Braun. Overall I have no complaints. I like that the cleaning detergent comes in small packs and not large plastic containers.

I've been using a razor my whole life and decided to give an electronic shaver a chance. This shaver charges fast, shaves well and comes with a cleaning unit. Did not get any skin irritation and the battery life is good.

When I was introduced to shaving, I tried my Dad's Sunbeam, Remington foil and a DE analog. I ended up doing the DE and got tired of nicks and cuts and skin irritation. in 1972, I started an almost 50 year relationship with Norelco "rotary" products. I went as high as $200+ in that line and it seems they have plateaued as far as technology advances are concerned. I was fed up with the poor quality of replacement blades available today, so I began a search for a replacement shaver. After reading numerous reviews, mostly pro, I decided to give the Arc5 a shot. All I can say is if you find yourself in my spot, do not hesitate. Get this shaver with the cleaning/charging unit, STAT! PROS: The closest shave I've gotten, next to a razor, EVER. Did NOT irritate my skin (I have sensitive skin) Larger head > shorter shave time Flex head follows your facial contours (jaw line, neck, etc.) Beard "sensor" adjusts to your beard's current length. Trimmer does a good job. Shaver has a "built-in" cleaning function, which you can use if you're travelling, or in between "tank" cleanings. Head size and shaving method delivers a faster shave. The cleaning/charging base has a "Dry/charge" function. CONS: Price of replacement heads and cleaning solution concentrate. I got this in anticipation of my upcoming birthday (thank you, honey!) and read the manual. I HAD to check the unit out, so I put some pre-shave lotion on and charged the shaver. Some people complain about the size of the shaver. It really is comparable to the Norelco I was using, but the shape of the head is what speeds your shave along. (It covers more territory). Since there is usually a break-in time for new shaving methods, I expect my shaves to improve over the next week. I used primarily an up and down motion on my face, then I changed direction and orientation on my chin and neck. One complaint I avoided is on my upper lip I have a moustache, so I didn't have a problem with trying to get a close shave there. After finishing and evaluating the shave quality, I took the head off, and rinsed it and the shaver under the tap. Then, I wiped excess water off both and reassembled the unit and dropped it into the cleaning/charging base and put it on dry. I haven't used the cleaning function of the tank yet, but will update my review after I've done so. For things like shaving my ears, I have a companion Panasonic trimmer that I use for things no shaver can do. Summary: Get one! You have 30 days to decide whether you want to keep it.

I'm 66 years old and this is the best electric razor I've ever owned. Quiet, effortlessly cuts two day old facial hair on one pass smoothly. Does not cut so close to cause red spots or burn skin. Excellent!

So first things first: no, this will not shave as close as a razor but it is pretty darn good, heck I’ve even used it on my shiny head. Secondly: I’m kind of old and remember when things just felt substantial in your hand, not so much here as it just doesn’t really feel like it would necessarily hold up but time will tell and I am biased with my view that they just don’t make things like they once did. Lastly: overall it does a good job and I really hate shaving but enjoy more now as I can sit in my shower, relax and just enjoy a little massage on my face and neck while getting rid of that facial hair. Over all it’s a good shaver and does a good job a little pricey but would ultimately buy again even if I wish it just felt like it would survive a fall.

Razor works great. It was easy to follow the instructions to get it activated.My husband uses it daily and says it is the best razo he has ever had. Would recommend to every one that needs a shaver.
