I can't believe how much better this is than my current razor. I've been shaving my head bald for a year even though I have a (relatively) full head of hair. I initially bought a Braun series 7 and thought it was fine. I could get my head fully bald with some effort but couldn't shave my face and it would miss around my ears. Upon getting this one I could IMMEDIATELY tell how much better and quicker it was. There's no spot it can't get, it shaves so much better and quicker, and I can actually shave my face. It's such a closer smoother shave too. I highly highly recommend this razor if you wanna shave your head.

first time using an electric shaver and honestly I’m never going back. I have really sensitive skin and I am always prone to razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and razor burn. I did a wet shave with this razor and it left my skin baby smooth. I’m actually surprised at how close of a shave I got out of this. (Granted, you can always get closer with a DE safety razor). The self cleaning is great, and it looks pretty cool. I’m getting one for my pops next and definitely going to recommend this to everyone. Overall I am super happy with this purchase and I think at this price it’s hard to beat.

I decided to break away from the Braun series shavers after more than a decade and try this Panasonic Arc5. I grabbed it on December 4th and liked it so much I bought one for my Dad on January 8th. It's far superior to the Braun. It's faster, more comfortable and definitely gives a closer shave in less time. With the Braun I would have to go over the same area a few times where the Arc5 does the job in a pass or 2. While I've still had it less than 2 months each time I shave it feels better and better. My father loves his too. I'm really glad I decided to try something different. I definitely recommend it over the others out there. I had a Norelco as well and like that the lesst of the 3. The other upside to the Panasonic is the cleaning solution lasts longer and costs less. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!

Very close shave and the cleaning station works very well! Takes a little getting used, but the shaves are very close now. Glad I made the transition to this from a regular razor!

I love my new electric shaver! Easy to use and clean; almost look forward to shaving now!

I am not sure if I was just used to my 10 year old Panasonic electric razor or what, but this thing is amazing. The shave is so close and my face is so smooth. My wife can't believe the difference either. I loved my old Panasonic but this one is much, much better. If you are looking for an electric razor, consider this one. I'll bet you will be impressed too!

this is a very good product. it gives a good shave and is much more affordable than the braun 900 series. the one problem i have is that the it does not shave the hair under my chin very well. but over all im pleased with the product.

I have used Norelco, Braun and now this. I have to sa it is the best electric shaver I have used. My expensive Braun broke after two years and uses expensive cleaners. This gives you the closest shave by far. It won't do it with one pass, but if you spend the time, it is just as good as a blade. Many reviews critique this for comfort and I don't see it. It is just as comfortable as my Braun was. The shaver itself is a bit awkward but you get used to it, a very small thing. The cleaning solution lasts longer than Braun and is much cheaper but not as easy to find. This is the best shaver on the market and there is a reason it ranks so high. THe best thing is it is less costly than Braun.

Provides a great close dry shave and easy to use. It does provide a closer shave than the Wahl Super Close shaver, which I have used for over 20-years. Only drawback is the bulkiness of the shaver.

I have always been a razor guy. I took a chance on this. Very smooth shave. I use a wet shave for this. it will do dry or wet. The self cleaning feature is fantastic. a great product for the money.

I was surprised to get a good shave the first time I used it

Shaving feels smooth and precise. Charging is fast and cleaning it is a breeze. Cleaning solution can be bought online, one packet is included in the box. Have not used in the shower yet but plan on doing so soon.

I bought this electric razor while on vacation. I did not want to take the time to shave my head with a double-bladed razor and the reviews for this product looked good. While the price was high, it seemed worth the money for a highly rated razor. It seemed entirely worth the money, af first. Fast forward three months. It has been used every 3-4 days to shave my head during this time. While shaving my head one evening, my skin starts to hurt. Quickly after, it begins to feel hot. I stop as the pain begins to rise even more. Upon checking, I discover the razor has left countless cuts on my head. My fiance told me that it looked like I got in a fight with a squirrel and lost. Further analysis of the razor showed that one of the outer blades of the razor had burned through the foil. This is when I realized that the pain I had felt was from the blades rubbing directly on my skin. Summary: Good: - quality, close shave - cleaning station works well - holds a charge well - sensor is nice for different areas of hair Bad: - $100+ heads last 3 months - $400+ per year operating cost - cleaning station fluid not available in U.S. Ultimately, there are better razors on the market with wildly lower costs to operate. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This is a good product for the price I paid, very smooth shave with my skin, less passes than others, great charger / cleaner base. Good battery. The bad things, don't work very well with my bald.

Just like Braun's top shaver, Panasonic shavers are always at the top of the heap. It really becomes a Chevy vs Ford issue at that point. I happen to like the way Panasonic implemented this model. The wash / charging station uses liquid instead of cartridges which is very convenient. You could just use water in a pinch. You can also rinse this unit directly under running water and then use the 'dry' feature of the base. Shaving performance and comfort is top-notch as usual. Depending on the sale, this Panasonic unit is priced very competitive, usually much better than the equivalent Braun unit.

I previously reviewed this shaver and nothings changed , my son (43) is very happy, both with the ease of cleaning the shaver and how well it cuts.

Very good electric shaver. Like the automatic cleaner and the separate travel case.

I had used a rotary razor for 15 years. It broke and I needed a new one. I thought to get another rotary but read great reviews for foil razors as well as this model. Nervously, I made the switch to foil and I am happy that I did. This razor is slightly louder but not enough to bother me. My old rotary occasionally irritated my skin, especially when I let my hair grow a little long. This Panasonic foil razor does not irritate me at all. I can even was my face with soap and water after shaving. Couldn't before. Highly recommend this. The automatic cleaning system is also a nice luxury.

This Panasonic wet/dry shaver delivers the close shave that I want. It's easy to clean and the charge lasts about 10 days. It's all that I want from an electric shaver.
