I bought this shaver on sale based on reviews after owning a Braun Series 7 shaver for a number of years which I liked. I am glad I did. Holding the Arc5 in my hand it is almost vibration free. It gives me a very close shave. You can hear the shaver increase and decrease speed when in auto mode. One of the best things is the cleaning solution that last me around 6 weeks or so with me cleaning the shaver every 2 or 3 uses. I am saving a ton of money over the Braun solution.

I never knew how bad my old shaver was until I used this one. Buy it! You won’t be disappointed. Easy to use and easy to clean. Clean close shave too!

Bought to replace a prior panasonic unit that worked faithfully for years until finally calling it quits. Shaves close, and the cleaner works well.

I purchased this after reading many reviews on electric shavers for sensitive skin. I get razor burn easily even with just a normal razor but not with this Arc5. I get a super smooth shave just like with a normal razor and no razor burn. Super happy with this purchase! My only complaint (and this is minor) is that the cleaning cycle is kinda loud... I can hear it through the whole house. Easy fix, I just turn on the cleaning cycle as I'm walking out the door. Other than that, great product.

This is the second Panasonic-Arch 5 that I purchased as a gift. They are a little expensive but worth the money. My husband and son really like the Arch 5 because of the close shave they get without pulling the hairs. I found the cleaning solution at Bed, Bath & Beyond, available on line only, which is reasonably priced. Great razor for your man! Also Best Buy is good about price matching.

I switched from a Philips shaver and this is hands down the best shaver I've owed. The cleaning charging station is awesome!

As an avid user of Braun and Philips electric razors for decades, I am absolutely impressed with the comfort and close shave that this unit advertised. I have never been able to replicate the clean results afforded by traditional blades until now! I cannot think of a single underlining fault with this model and would recommend it to anyone needing a stellar product at a fantastic price. You will not be disappointed!

Very close shave, much better than my previous one from Phillips. Really liked the hassle-free washing station.

Purchased as a shaver for my head: Shaver gets a very close shave and cleans up very easy. When you hair is short it makes quick work of any hair. on the other side it does not do great at longer or curled hair. To think this will make shaving faster, it will not. If you use the trimmer with it, you will get much better results for neck and longer hair. Also noticed I got better results moving slowly and a little firmly. Otherwise a great shaver, skin has to get used to the pull

I've had (3) other brands of Electric Shavers in the last 10 years. Panasonic Arc5 Automatic Cleaning/Charging Wet/Dry Electric Shaver, is by far, the best... Better than any other Brands I've used in the past. And, it's made in Japan. Quality is better than the other brands made in other foreign countries.

I shave everyday and have thick, coarse facial hair. I have always used a 3-5 blade razor because every electric razor I used did not do a good enough job. The Panasonic Arc5 is the exception. It takes a few days to get use to but once you do, it does a masterful job.

As close a shave as with a razor!! Excellent battery life can go two weeks without charging.

It’s rare to find an electric razor with this close of a shave. Cleaning is very easy as well.

When I think of Panasonic it brings me back to the 80s when I had a big boom box Panasonic radio. I thought that's all Panasonic was good at. I was wrong because who ever engineered this shaver wanted a close shave. I want from a braun to this and it is hands down better. It feels like the razor shave when your done. It does take time to that close but the thing is it can my other one could not.

Very good electric shaver. Shaves close and is fairly easy to clean. Less complicated than the Braun versions.
