I purchased this because I’m transitioning to female and was looking for a shaver that would give me a great shave and not the razor burns or cuts. This delivers! It’s super great, gentle on the skin and keeps my face smooth. Highly recommend.

My new Panasonic shaver is working great. I now shave in the shower. Much closer than ever before! I just use a little shampoo as shaving cream and I get a very close shave, no abrasions, just a smooth face.....

I had high hopes, and I'm satisfied. I get a closer shave than I did with my high-end Norelco. Simple as that. At first I thought the cleaning unit was a gimmick, but now I'm glad I got it. The shaver needs to be cleaned regularly, and this makes it easy.

The Panasonic Arc 5 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Self-cleaning recharger is outstanding. I've used safety razors for years and decided to try and electric. The Panasonic was the best choice!! If you've been using blades it takes around a month for your face to adapt to an electric but after that time using the electric is great!! Especially with the Self-cleaning recharger. It keeps your razor clean and charged so you always get a great shave. Be sure you read all the instructions so you can get the most from your razor.

This is by far the best shaver I ever bought. I know that it can never be better than the razor but it very close enough. Much better than the Braun ones I’ve had before.

Was pleasantly surprised by how good the shave is with this razer. I am coming from the Braun Series 9 which needed an upgrade. Great razor fir the money. Only downside is the very high cost of replacement heads/blades when the time comes to replace them.

I have used many different brands of electric shaver over the years and this one is the best hands down. You get a smooth and comfortable shave in a short amount of time. Note however that is typical of electric shavers you need to purchase cleaning packets to use with water in the cleaner. Over time you will have to decide if it is worth it to you to use the automatic cleaning feature or just clean it yourself under the faucet. But as a razor this one is tops in my opinion.

I'm very pleased with the Arc5 shaver. It gets pretty close though not as close as shaving manually with a blade. The Arc5 gives me a shave closer than the Braun 9 I previously tried. I returned the Braun 9 as several hairs were missed. I will keep the Arc5 as it works very well.

I bought this primarily for my head! And wow it did not disappoint! It is as close as a razor! with none of the mess and clean up. I would describe my hair as very fine, and I'm also not fully balding. This may work differently with different types of hair? For me... PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for. DO not even hesitate. I read reviews that The Rock uses the Braun series 9, but did exhaustive research and found the Arc5 cuts even closer.
