It does, however, take about a month until your face gets used to the change from a razor-blade shave, but I find it much easier to have a clean-cut face all the time without using this electric shaver. Definitely worth the money and it was on sale at Bestbuy which was great!

Very close shave; perhaps not as close as a blade

Generally pleased, but it is still taking me longer to shave than using my blade razor. Perhaps it's technique? My skin is sensitive; my beard is quite tough with a few "problem areas" that grow in different directions. I am curious if one of the rotary blade shavers might work better for me.
