    Talk about a razor. It does not get very close to your face. Feels like it takes forever free to get to that point. Bad part is I bought two of these for my sons and neither one of them like it and I traded did not like it either.

    This shaver is average, it does its job. However, I have a $25 shaver that performs exactly the same from Phillips. I have owned Panasonic shavers for the past 20 years, and they all do a great job. I think other shavers are catching up on technology and capabilities.

    I've been shaving with wet/dry shavers for a long time now and this is the best shaver you can get. If you have not shaved with wet/dry shaver, you are missing out on closest shaving experience possible. I used Arc 3 for a long time and doubted Arc 5 would improve my shaving experience but I was wrong.

    I've been using mine for 3 years with no problems yet. I have never gotten any type of razor rash on my neck; which is quite amazing! Just picked this one up for my son as an Xmas present.

    I have never been as disappointed with a product as I was with this one. After all the glowing reviews and even some ratings calling it the best electric shaver ever made I took the plunge and switched from my Norelco. I have used for two weeks and the shaves are abysmal. Even after going over the same area 3-4 times there is still stubble left. Shaving the neck is even worse. Going over every area of my neck from every conceivable angle and there is still substantial stubble left. The only good comment I can make is that it feels good in the hand. Re

      Thank you for your review! We recommend to treat yourself to wet lather shaves for at least three weeks and notice the difference. Your Panasonic WET/DRY shaver requires a little time to get used to because your skin and beard need about a month to adjust to any new shaving method. Start shaving by applying gentle pressure to your face. Stretch your skin with your free hand and move the shaver back and forth in the direction of your beard. You may gently increase the amount of pressure as your skin becomes accustomed to this shaver. Applying excessive pressure does not provide a closer shave. Panasonic
